  • I have just been onto docrafts (after seeing it mentioned on here) and wow, they seem to have lots of great stuff, I have decided to make a baby book for my sister (but don't know where to start) she is expecting a baby girl in April so I don't have that long....can anyone recommend a book that would be good to use for this? I am a bit lost on what to get and am worried I will order something that won't be suitable.....I do have some bits and bobs already, but could do with some stuff suitable for a baby girl too....

rainmac thanks for those links, I will take a look at them and also try to spend more time reading back on here for ideas.....

  • I feel embarassed now that my posts are all rambling and nothing substantial

I have updated my blog today with my latest work:
    http://pinkladymel.blogspot.com

Rainmac, as soon as I saw that heart I thought OMG they nicked your idea!!

The valentines 5ivers thread is really good and I have just got a brilliant idea from there to write a love note for lee on some shrink plastic so he can put it in his wallet. He never takes his wallet out as I have all the money and cards LOL Thought that counts though!!

WOW PLM your blog is fantastic - had to stop looking through it to tell you so!
Thank you very much for sharing the scrapbooking class:T:T:T:T:T
Here I stand, foot in hand
    staring at the wall
I'm not quite right at all
  • Hi all

PLM - your scrapbooking is amazing - and it was nice to read a bit about you and put a face to the name.

Jamtart - so sorry to hear about your Gdad. ((((BIG HUG))).

    Everyone else - HELLO :j

    I am 37 (38 in June)!

Hello to all the newbies - don't be shy - I am not remotely crafty, have never made anything, and am embarassed at my lack of talent compared to most people on these thread - but I do enjoy this thread and get lots of ideas for being thrifty!

A question - some of you have mentioned in the past that Boots do "extra points days/events" (I think, it is possible that my addled brain made that up) - do these happen regularly and are they advertised - I have quite a few bits to get but have been holding off to get the best points back - any ideas?
  • Hope everyone's well!

Pinkladymel- Your blog is fab. I love your scrapbook pages and cards!

Jamtart- So sorry to hear about you grandad! :grouphug:

    Scattymam- They are so lovely!

    Rusty- Great dolls house.
I have had a Pine dresser and a Pine double bed from freecycle. I also got 3 big bags of cross stitch magazine for my mum. :j
It's also great if you have a big clearout and you can give things to other people and they can get some use out of them.
I do agree though most people don't say thankyou.

    Oh and i'm 21.

I am saving money on Valentines, as i am single i don't have to spend any money on it! :rotfl:

I have lost 13lbs now, just 1lb to go and then it's a stone! :j

I got some spiderman socks for £2.00 were £4.00 the other day (bit of a jokey present) for my Bro to put away for xmas.

I am hoping to do another scrapbook page today!

Oh and by the way i love reading everyone's ramblings! :rotfl:

    Sarah :D

Sarah, there's a clue in your username to your age ... I'm three months older than you and thoroughly looking forward to 30. Apparently it brings great wisdom and freedom from being insecure and stressed out.

Like enlightenment, only you also get cake and a party.

Lubargains well done on your weight loss that's brilliant, I found it such a struggle I put 2stone when I was pregnant and only now I've managed to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight! I've got 11lb to go to the ideal weight I want to be!

Just fed up of people trying to organise it for me LOL, and telling me how I should Celebrate it, when all I want to do is have some Fun:D , but how I want, does that sound shelfish, well thats what I'm told!!! Friends Huh...

I think I might just have to have a virtual party with all my lovely friends on here and sod everyone else ;)

I was pregnant with DS1 when I was 21 so never really celebrated that big one.
