HI guys sorry I am rubbish at keeping up with threads so haven't really updated but will do now: I now have 2/3 of the presents we need for birthdays/xmas etc for about £140 :j Mainly due to lots of sale shopping!!
I am going to veer from the norm a bit and moan about my friend who has forgotten my OH's birthday (even though it's only 4 weeks after her OH's and we gave him a card and present  ). How rude. Am now taking bets on how long it will take her to realise she has forgotten it. It may be the case that they weren't organised enough to have his present yet-having joined this 'ere thread I think that's just as bad!Remember to always be yourself-unless you suck. Joss Whedon0 -

..xxI am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A0 -

Chanced the shops for an hour yesterday (Well I had to stock up on COFFEE incase we got snowed in :rotfl: ), managed to pick up a few bargins while I was out. Jammy If you have a Poundland and Homebargins near you, you can get some great stuff for V Day. I got some boxes of fake Rose Petals for a £1 (you could scatter these over the floor), they had loads of stuff in (some was a bit kinky like:o but thats up to what people want LOL) And in Home Bargins they had Valentines Crackers in for 39p, and Jellie sweets that spell 4ever at 49p, they also had 4 packets of Love Heart sweets for 35p. Love your Idea for camping out in the new house, it sounds so Romantic and will give you some lovely memories for the future.
Well Better get on, my cup is empty and I have to fill it up:o

Well done for being money neutral with all your nice gifts! We have both poundland and home and bargain, they all sound really good! Thanks for thinking of me! I just think it will be fun. We don't have heating but do have nice new windows so should be a bit warmer in there! No curtains either!! I might try Asda as well as they often have cheap themed items!

Its Melville Mcabe in town, is that where you go? I guessed by the price as well. So not money saving at all!!!0 -
I'm sorry. I've been a bad gift giver
I've done almost nothing! I did make an order at halfcost today using the 15% code, and spent 23 quid on gifts for a friend's birthday and another friend's wedding and bits for my mother's, grandmother's, brother's and almost-husband's Christmas gifts.
For their wedding present, I got a really nice velvet throw rug for 4 quid. I'm going to buy a couple of DVDs and a box of chocolates/bottle of nonalcoholic fizz/packet of popcorn and make them a night in in a box.
But that's all. I'm laaaaaaazy.
Glad to see you're all busily working awayOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0
