I am indeed doing the camp out! should be fun :D The foot is actually QUITE painful! I've had a little hobble and a limp, but everyone seems to have stopped sympathising now :( I cant believe the bruise a plate can cause when dropped from height!

mum2one - home and bargains OR halfcost....? which is your fave?

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

Furrypig, on holiday & still coming on here, now theres commitment! (or should that be addiction?)

I think it proves I have an addiction and it's helping me try and beat the jetlag as everyone else is already in bed but I want to try and get into the US time zone! Plus got tired walking around Epcot it's really massive!!

    Morning All

Everyone seems busy & Organised, got a list of jobs as long as my arm again today:mad: and must get on and do some.

Kids went back to school yesterday :j but the ice is still here, making it a nightmare to get anywhere  unless you have ice skates

Will drop the kids off this morning and then get stuck in, got a few Home made Valentines gifts to make and need to sort out some crafts for the kiddies to do on the day.

Well it's time for another Coffee here

    Take Care

Well the snow is back, a nice thin blanket of it, covering all the ice, so no doubt I will end up on the floor this morning. DS2 has woken up with a stinking cold & Cough so will have to keep him off School.

Hows everyone else doing with the snow again today?

    Keep Warm and Safe

on tenderhooks today - husbands hours are going to be reduced again. They already did it once and we thought at least he's not been made redundant but now they're talking knocking a full day off! Things will get very tight - but what do you do when you are already doing so much?

Have a 20 a month sky package I can get rid of and could try changing landline for a better offer but no way am I getting rid of internet - apart from it being a sanity saver it more than pays for itself with the money I make and save - probably ten times over

I have introduced hubby to nsd, no spend days and making things money neutral- he's doing really well. Any random tips he gets are going towards his football sessions - he used to use them for his lunches so instead he gets up at 6.30 to make his packed lunch - bless him. If I could just convince him to ride his bike to work!

I will have a nsd today, tomorrow too and dd will get a treat cos she's going to a party in the new play area in town

Weekend will be walk with dog in the forest and to the park - all free. I have some cinema tickets I won also from coke zone (will have to take own snacks stuffed up jumper).

Have done 3 weeks of meal plans last week and did a massive shop enough for 3 weeks - hoping I will manage to just do small top up shops over 3 weeks - have worked out - it will save me about 100 pounds through just doing one shop - will see if it works and then try a months next time.

Will get dd to make her dad some valentine gifts. All birthdays are sorted and neutral for next couple of months.

sorry about the long post but feel ready to go now...

Our snow has gone from outside (Kent), still a bit in the garden so might be a few slippery paths about still. Havent been out since Saturday and getting stiffled so am going for a walk up town lunchtime with my duaghter so I can post off the mobiles to Mazuma and have a look in the wool shop. Finished knitting the cardigan for ledest daughter but it looks a bit small again, havent sewed it up yet so will see how it looks made up.
Had a belated payment from Cashback Rewards or one of them yesterday for £20 so going to use this to buy some more wool to make a cardigan for my Dad, have been paid £10 from Quidco and £10 from Rpoints so this £20 is going towards youngest daughters camping trip. will only leave £80 to pay off.
