If you do bathe your cat then take some photos to laugh at later. It seems so cruel but is sometimes necessary, and the photos are hilarious. I'm not saying this to be cruel to cats, but just for the amusement of humans. Many years ago I had to bathe my cats because they had got themselves into a nasty state. It would have been a waste of an opportunity to not take photos of the poor, dripping, unhappy, rascals. They were never cold, but they were very, very funny.

this is fantastic news, i'm so happy for you, i'm also sitting here with tears in my eyes. If you don't want to bathe your cat try washing her with a flannel. This is how i bath my cats as they don't get too scared. I just fill a bowl with warm water and a some baby shampoo and whilst the cat is standing on the draining board i gently wash them. I have to admit i do struggle with my boy cat but that's cause he had several baths when he was younger as he got covered in black grease that my neighbour had put on our fence grrrr and rascal's never forgiven me :rotfl:

Hi guys, back with a quick update, we bathed her and she didn't mind one bit!!! Think it was actually soothing for her, her skin really is in a bad way, full of scabs and hot in places, she keeps licking it aswell. Also when i was bathing her i found a lump in her back leg. It's quite big and i can move it and doesn't cause her any discomfort. Vets on monday i think.
The good news is she looks as though she has gained weight, she's scoffing away and the little bit of diahorrea has stopped. She will not come out of our bedroom, loving the warmth, food and regular visitors!!!! She's really chilled, it's like she's saying 'been out for two and a half years, i'm happy stopping right here!!'
Her purr has not stopped, and she's started to do her 'brpps' when she sees you!!!! I absoultly adore her and i am so pleased to have her back. I'll update you all after we,ve visited the vet.
Thanks guys for all your replies, it's nice to hear from like minded people who loves their animals too!!!!
Bye for now SharronSometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p0 -
