    Hi folks

We checked with the local Job centre as my hubby lost his job early Dec,and on Income based JSA, we also have a son with disability age 13 where a disability premium is paid, we were told we were eligible and they given us a tel number to apply as this was not paid out to us.

However, ours which is NP44 came up as triggered 3 times on the link that was added, we checked on that "Sennybridge weather station"

My husband just made a call now and the lady said it will come out automatically, so we told her we have not received anything, she then said, it has to be below zero temps for 7 days etc before this is paid out, hubby did not think to tell her he checked this out on here, but what is going on?

This shows our area on the chart as from 6th Jan.

    Cheers.;)

Thank you for your post bignosemac1 - very helpful.

Claimants of DLA for disabled children MAY get a CWP, but only if they are also claiming a Child Tax Credit for the disabled child.

I will be ringing somewhere tomorrow for some answers I think.

We fit ALL the criteria BUT my OH dares to go out to work therefore making us exempt!!

How many more parents are there out there with disabled children who are being excluded due to work.

    Truly unbelieveable.

Same for us - DS2 is at home all day and we have to have the heating up (severe juvenile arthritis). OH works so we can't claim. People wonder what we spend DLA on!

According to the channel four thing it's been triggered here once. I'm guessing that was a few weeks ago as it got really bad for about a week. But I haven't had anything yet. I guess I'll give it a while then try and find out what's going on. My postcode's LS7

I'm in LS8 & haven't received anything. Whereabouts on the Channel Four link does it say it's been triggered in our area  as when i've looked previously, the Linton on Ouse weather station hasn't been showing as triggered.
