That's shocking what the agency has done, hope it isn't going to cause problems. Make sure he claims for everything should there be any charges or problems, I'd make it very tough on them.
400 sit ups! I think thats suitable punishment, ouch!
Well done on the NSD! :TKeep the Faith!0 -
Yep much punishment and I can bloody feel it today I tell ya! I have been to the gym though which is good because a) I don't have to do any more sit ups today and b) It means I have done some sort of excerise every day this week. Flipping heck I am quite a good speller but can never spell the excersise word! Never mind ya'll know what I mean. Didn't bother with swimming because there looked like there was some kind of gala on - no way I'm getting roped into that accidentally lol!
Yeah he has spoken to the legal people at work and they said that they are gonna chase it up anyway because it's happened to all the people from that agency and the council are P'd off because they have paid the money which should have been used to pay the staff. We'll see what happens anyway.
Another NSD today, and I have done my daily clicks again took about 50 minutes this time so not quite as long. It is a bit tedious though, I might have to do them in two parts. I did get a Lightspeed survey though and I checked my account and I already have enough in there for a £10 voucher! Gonna wait a bit before claiming though. You can actually get cash paid into paypal from there, but I have never withdrawn from paypal before - does it cost money to withdraw?
Tomorrow will most definitely NOT be an NSD, as the car is going back to the doctors
hopefully it will only be minor things wrong with it. I am gonna go into town as well while its at the garage, using the bf's weekly ticket so no cost there, its whats left of the sales I'm worried about! I have a big shoe weakness and I haven't bought a pair in ages - I will have to try and avoid the acquistion of pair number 286...

Hello!
I think it's about 25p to withdraw from Paypal, but it should say somewhere on the site. It's free after £50 I think, but I never keep enough money in there long enough to find out :rotfl:0 -
Cheers FF, you know I completely didn't think of just LOOKING ON THE SITE doh!:o I was thinking of getting my lightspeed stuff paid into paypal (or at least some of it) becuase then at least its actual cash that I can use to pay stuff off with - don't think A&L would accept boots vouchers to pay off the credit card lol!

How about when you get a £10 Boots voucher, you take £10 out of your groceries/toiletries budget and throw it at A&L then? That way you still have the vouchery goodness and can use this to buy your daily toiletries, and you are clearing more debt.don't think A&L would accept boots vouchers to pay off the credit card lol!0 -
Well that is what I have been doing, kinda substituting the vouchers for what I would normally spend - only problem is I end up going to boots and spending say £8 on a foundation (or whatever) then I think, well I might as well buy something with the other £2 and inevitably there is nothing I want (or need) that costs as little as £2, and it all just escalates! TBH I only really use boots for presents and things, unless theres a sale on I find superdrug better value generally. If there was anything it would be shampoo, but my mate is a hairdresser and she gets me the huge salon bottles of S Factor for cost which last me like 8 months - at £24 for salon style shampoo and conditioner that isn't bad!
What I'll probably do is get the odd voucher and the rest into paypal - I need to get my !!!! into gear and start selling stuff on ebay so that should bump up the total too!Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...

Actually theres a question for anyone reading - would I be better off getting all my unwanted stuff on ebay/amazon etc, or should a just do a car boot in a month or two when it gets a bit warmer? I've done one before with a friend but stupidly she wanted to go in the middle of winter and we only made about a tenner :rotfl: Any experiences? Might ask this on one of the other boards actually too.

I think it depends on what you need to sell. You will sell a lot of stuff on Ebay/Amazon, especially if the books/DVDs are in good condition on Amazon. I make less selling DVD on Ebay.0

Most of the dvds and books that I would sell are pretty good condition, maybe a couple of creases on the spines of paperbacks. I have looked a few of them up and they are only going for a penny, but I understand from the amazon thread that you can still make a profit from the postage costs? I have some CD's but they are so old now they are probably not worth anything, some of them don't even show up on music magpie.
Most of my stuff is general junk you see, thats the problem
I think when I get a free weekend I will just take the plunge and whack a load of stuff on amazon - beats standing around at a car boot at 5am in the morning! Wish I had your get up and go FF - I've been sitting around online all evening when I could have been doing something like that!

Hello all,
Must update this before I forget all about it and slip back into bad habits...
My car passed it's MOT :T and the repair stuff only cost £60 - I had been prepared for £120 so not quite as bad as I was expecting. I managed not to buy anything whilst I was in town except a jumper for £3 from Primark, just for slobbing about in and notebook from Paperchase in the sale for £1, so not too bad.
I've been shopping and spent £11 on food and stuff for the week. Quite chuffed as so far this month my food bill has come to £60 odd including beer, wine and household stuff - I cook from scratch most nights I'm sure that must be how I do it. So I'm well on target for my normal £80 on shopping.
NSD today as well.
I went to the gym today and yesterday which I'm quite proud of, I don't weight myself very often, tend to go by how tight my clothes are lol but last time I did was before Christmas and I went on the scales again today and I have lost 5lb - whether thats due to my little fitness drive over the last week or so, or just general I don't know! At least now I have a figure to keep track of though - I will weigh myself again next week and see what the difference is! I've also been doing plenty of crunches every night to tone up my jelly belly!
I'm sure there was something else I was going to put but can't for the life of me remember what... so I'll think of it another time!
Bye for now!
