  • Hello
Thank you for your support, as you can see I haven't done any of the list today. Since my last post I have tried to get some more milk down DS2 who is just starting teething at 7 months - I had to sing him lullabies and distract him with a toy - managed to get 5ozs into him and he was down at 6:30. Then I put a pizza in the oven for me and DS1 and had it with the leftover pasta from lunch and some salad, gave him a bath, S&S bathroom whilst he was in there (At least that's a start!) and he was in bed by 8pm. Cleared the kitchen, dishes, swept the floor and put bottles on sterilise.
    Striaghtened Lounge. Made a cuppa.
Trying to fix my virus on my laptop and now I'm going to catch up on Big Brother, whilst trying to catch up on here. The spare room? Don't ask it has not had a look in, I've just closed the door and pretended it's not there. Feel free to nag!
Anyway see you soon ...where's my now cold cup of tea!
Housework only gets noticed when it's not done.
My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them.
Can never keep up with the thread - otherwise I'll never get anything done! But hugs to All :grouphug:

Well done Fireangel!! I really need HHCs to get me motivated. I think that sticking a timer on means that I don't get so easily distracted, and I also know that someone else is doing the jobs at the same time I am. I've also thought the same as you in the past, especially when I've done half of my list and I'm going to give up and then someone posts a HHC.

Also well done to all of the other new flybabes as it was you that inspired me to do my list and I'm relatively experienced at flying now - just got a bit lazy again, so thank you!

Ahh don't worry about not doing any of your list flybabybunting - it sounds like you've had your hands rather full today, and if I had a LO I don't expect I would've got half as much done as you have. Well done for all that you have achieved today, and don't forget that the housework will always be there, but your children are only little once! (Sorry if this sounds trite, I don't mean it to.) Maybe a hug would be better::grouphug:

Made a good start today, though OH is the only one who uses the main bathroom - so he can clean the tiles next time he has a bath.:D

Have actually been flying most of the day as we totally rearranged and cleaned/hoovered the office as we have a new person starting soon.

I'm going to sit and read for a bit cos I haven't done this for ages and if I don't practice I'll get out of the habit:rotfl:

  • A big WELL DONE to all the newbies for doing so well today!!! Its a great sense of achievement isnt it when you see what you have done!!!!

Keep up the good work and your houses will soon be sparkly all over!!!

Well, I gave it a bit of a go. Absolutely shattered today - first day back at school today, teenagers were being teenagers. High point of the day was finding out one of our sows has had a litter of 8 piglets over the Christmas holidays. They look like they will be lovely Christmas bacon and hams this year .
I cheated slightly -I only did the ensuite, but that is the only bathroom I use. DS had a bath and I kinda wiped the bath out after.
