    Evening all

Finally sat down 2 mins ago and watching carp on tv (homes under the hammer on sky!). In my pjs already. Was quite late in after meeting my friends, was lovely to see them though. I was pleased I'd thought ahead and made a spag bol last night, DH put the pasta on when I was nearby and we threw together a quick salad. yummy.

Just having what soappie would call a 'restorative cuppa' and feeling my shoulders drop a bit! Feel stressy already, partly work and partly commuting, even though work was ok today...think the problem is probably me rather than the job, don't think i'll look for anything else unless something jumps at me as this job has 3 years left on the fixed contract and that's not to be sniffed at right now!

Flying wise I did most this morning, since getting in i have also washed up after dinner, S&S the kitchen, put the rubbish out and made lunches for tomorrow.

soappie- no idea on etiquette I'm afraid! I'm sure what you said was not rude.

    off to skim the thread...

Mmmm Soappie not sure on this one, I would tend to think Sir (as I would have no idea what means what rank wise!). Would use sir with all but the lowest ranks I think. Having said that I don't care what rank people are when they are stood in front of me at work they are Mr/Mrs/Miss etc no one is better than anyone else IMHO. At DH's work he observed the ranks but I as his wife did not feel that I had/should address these people according to rank, (the situation hardly ever arose) they are not my boss.

Evening! I'm sleeeeeeeeeepy!! Work was ok though - the children were all quite sleepy too! I posted my parcel on the way back and, since I got home, I have cleaned the sink, bath and toilet, virus scanned the PC and decluttered my desk, and wiped it, the keyboard, and the mouse. Oh, and I made and ate dinner :D

I will skim through the thread now .........
