    Why specifically a ferret?
They used ferrets to carry broadcasting wires through pipes etc at Westminster Abbey in order to broadcast the Queen's coronation (and NO I wasn't there :rotfl:)

Well am really pleased I got the bathroom done:j
I had to look after my 8 year old neice today as the teachers had a training day so spent time sledging in the snow with her and my little boy whos 2.
Also managed to cook some nice dishes - whole seabass with home made chips for our lunch and a potato & veggie bake for tea followed by a rhubarb, apple and ginger crumble with rhubarb I froze from the garden in the summer. So now I have some space in the freezer which reminds me I must defrost it later in the week.

Its nice to have this thread :o)
fab sounding food liney - well done getting so much work done.
to defrag go Start - all programmes - accessories - system tools - disk defragmenter - click defragment - you need to do both 'c' and 'd' drive to begin with then probably only the 'c' drive.
It helps your pc run better - it tidies up all the files that have got fragmented with use! HTH

    Hiya
Our cat has a weeks reprieve - she has to have drops to clear her ear again and an exploratory operation next week. If it's a polyp they'll take it out...if it's a tumour things won't be so good so it's a case of wait and see. Thank goodness for insurance.

I'm shattered now so think i'll go to bed as soon as the children do. xx

    Hi toots,

I am doing much better, the relief from having the gall stone out if huge. I am eating a normal diet with fat again yay. Only problem now is my bowel keeps going into over time so on medication for this. Although the doctors have no idea what is causing it.

I feel so much healthier now, recovery was slow going and I was impatient but I am back to my old self.

    Welcome new people
Piggers - glad the little one is feeding

A special wave to Emily :hello:- hope you're settling in OK
Anna Kaat - enjoy your second Christmas!

Sorry again, I've only briefly scanned the thread. Got in from work and the internet was down so I've done the bathroom and the utility room and have chicken bones on the hob cooking for stock.

Work reasonable. Almost got to be working from home Tues and Weds but they found me another desk at the last moment.

Drive to work was a mare - ice and snow and several sets of traffic lights at a major interchange out. But I got there in the end.

Hope you all stay warm tonight - it's going to be cold again!
