  • Right, instead of reading, must get on...

Woke up at 3.30am to get hubby off to work, because of snow and his hand he has FINALLY decided it would be too dodgy and has not gone in. :j Phew! I have been really worried and I think that is the real reason he's decided to stay home, but I don't mind what the reason, as long as he's made it.

Bad side of that is that he is home and I wanted to get on today, but he will want to chat/do stuff/make me sit down for a rest/generally get in the way...:rotfl: Still, never mind, at least he's safe...

We will also be going to a funeral today - hubby's stepgrandad - he wasn't really that close, but his dad is quite upset so we are going to go for him, another reason for him to have the day off.

So, DS has gone to college, hubby is in bed, I am on here in my dressing gown and long johns trying to warm my legs up and about to start the study as I didn't get everything done yesterday and I need to get on in there... See you in a bit...

  • Morning All

Welcome to all the newbies. :hello: there's so many new peeps joined that I can't remember all the names. But you are all very welcome nonetheless. :)

Jill Mine are 11, 8 and 7. With a 13 month gap between DD2 & 3.... I know I know!!! We tried so hard to have DD1. It took 4 years and we had 2 miscarriages. Then we had another miscarriage between DD1 & 2. SO we took 1 risk.... just 1... and we got DD3!!!!! bloomin typical.

Anyway... my long winded point is that it does get better! Meal times were an absolute battlefield! I almost gave in. But in the end I figured I have a responsibility not to let these untrained animals loose in the world!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: So we battled away on table manners, turn taking with talking.. etc etc etc , it only took about 5 years!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Right folks... I'm off to crack on. Busy morning ahead.

She is the one who got the tiger unbrella for her birthday in November.. :D.. she is adorable. Yes, I remember posting about daffodils now.. the eating of whole blocks of marzipan is a usual thing for me.. lol...

Pigpen, am loving the pic of your ironing pile  your DD is seriously cute tho. Love the mules too. I have such hooooge feet nothing like that ever fits me so I have to get shoes from Evans... always... everytime... really boring

IF it makes you feel better I have REALLY wide feet so can usually only get shoes from Evans as well.. and I have really wide calves so cannot get knee high boots at all.. and I really want some! At Clarks I am so far off the scale I would have to get shoes 2-3 sizes too big to get me feet in!

My eye looks like someone slugged me in it overnight it is really swollen and really sore but there doeasn't seem to be any point of origin for the soreness it is just evenly sore throughout I leaned forward to put my knix on and it felt like my eye fell out and it feels like it wobbles when I walk! It will no doubt be fine tomorrow... though I may feel the need to slap an ice pack on it to cool it off and stop it itching!
