Morning everyone................page 12 already?
It's all snowy, coldy and snowy here this morning:eek::eek: and I have to go to work in a minute and drive a stupid van, that has very skinny wheels and no matter how careful you are in these conditions, it can't help itself but slip and slide everywhere :eek::eek:
So I'm set for an entertaining morning....see you all when I get back for a couple of HHC:D;)

Welcome to all the newbies, wow there are certainly a lot of you this week
Count me in pigpenAfter the house going to pot, having flu/bug/lurgy or whatever the damn thing was over the Christmas period I really let things slip. Still I did take all the decorations down yesterday, and it even included the christmas tree, and DH actually put them away in the loft there and then instead of leaving it till middle of April..lol
Got woken up by DH while he was getting ready for work at 5am, he very kindly shook me awake and told me it had snowed overnight. Ugh why did I need to know this..lol So I am now looking at about an inch of snow outside and listening to the quiet - I love how snow dampens down all noises outside. I am wrapped up in my warm fleecy dressing gown with both radiators on downstairs. I have succumbed and actually put both of them on instead of just the one like I have normally done previous years. So I am going to get myself some warming porridge and another cup of tea for my breakfast and then have a warm bath and make a start on the list.Morning everyone................page 12 already?

Soappie - Hope your return to work is ok - I can't keep up as to if you are at the old or new site this week..[/quote]
I think I'm at the old site. That's where I going to head for anyway...soappie YOU ARE A GENIUS we have no telly in the kitchen, I always want to watch stuff on iplayer and have things to do at the table (no table in front room) so iplayer in laptop in kitchen is exactly what I will do
Glad to be of serviceDon't forget you need internet access unless you download. Maybe you have wireless... I have a very long static cable because wireless doesn't work particularly well in my house
How did the hypnotherapy go ?
It went well. It was only get into a relaxed state and out again. No suggestions - she's still at the early stages of learning! I felt quite proud of her!
Have tried to catch up with the thread but haven't thanked everyone I'm afraid - no time!
My mousse and hairdryer experiment worked wellI have reasonable hair this morning!
But, must away, make sarnies and try to get to work. Snow and ice may prove tricky. I have to go across country so it should be interesting. Fortunately, unlike TAG, I have chunky 4x4 wheels. Be careful out there everyone.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hi
Please can you add me - :xmastree:
I have been reading last week's thread for a few days and it has got me all inspired.
Yesterday we had a massive clear up, we -
Took down Xmas Decs and put in loft
TV Boxes in loft
Any Xmas related things in loft
Tidied bedroom so no clothes on floor,, just need to sort the clutter.
WM x 7 (After this massive spree there were no unwashed items anywhere in my house!!)
TD x 7
Put all clothes away and then realised why I always have washing to do - we just don't have the room for all our clothes in our wardrobes, drawers .etc
Will be having a massive clear out before end of month due to Pre-school having a clothing collection to raise funds.
OH washed up and tidied all work surfaces in kitchen
Managed to sort all odd socks, of the 15 left at the end 10 went in the bin and the others we kept
Tidied office. Filed all pwk and did financial jobs I have put off for ages.
From today no more pwk comes into the office unless it is something I am doing straight away.
This afternoon when I get in from work I will balance my spreadsheets and work out total debt ready to join Payment A Day Challenge.
Forgot to say that it is me, OH (well trained except for washing clothes), DS 11, DD 6, 1 dog, 3 cats, 4 kittens, 15 chickens in garden, 40 chickens on allotment plus more to come in the next few weeks.
No wonder I don't have time for housework.
EE
ETA - I work part time and have a voluntary job as a Money Adviser - so basically full time, OH works full time, plus we are on 2 committees and have regular meetings. Thank heavens for my mum looking after kids.0 -
