Morning all
Not sure why I rushed up when the alarm went off this morning, had a bath last night so was never gonna take me long to get myself sorted...that was BEFORE I saw the snow! Got dressed then wrapped myself in my thick dressing gown to come and check what the trains are doing...mine is showing ok so far but the one 8 mins before is cancalled, so I'm gonna go a bit later (boss is away) as it will be rammed (well, more rammed than usual!). Nice short day for me then as I'm leaving at 3.15 for an appointment!
So I might do the bathroom once DH has gone instead.
Haven't managed to catch up on the thread yet but I'm in for any weight loss challenge - I wondered about starting one myself and am sticking to weight watchers points but without the cost!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Jill i'd be up for a weight loss challenge i put on 5 lbs over xmas:eek: ( on top of what i already have to lose ).
My clothes have been getting much tighter over the past few months - and I didn't have any scales as the ones I had were broken. I bought some the other day. I am back to the weight I was in Jan 2006 - and I had managed to lose nearly 2 stone, so back to square one :mad::eek:0 -
Love the mules Pigpen - they would be nice flying past the ear of slackers wouldn't they!(reminder for you for Jill too)

Well I'm up and dressed, but can't say that either DH or I slept last night, or the last three nights if honest. He's now left for work and I feel awful - a real sense of gloom.
But shakes self - can't get too down as DS not back to school until tomorrow and don't want him to pick up on things. We've had a sprinkling of snow and he's happily playing outside making a baby snowman.
Feel a mad cleaning frenzy this morning, and have another small person to mind this afternoon which will help. But its going to be a looonnngggg day until I hear if things are to stay as they are or whether we have a big problem.
Will pop on and off I think for company if no-one minds.
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -

I have the same problem. I'm tall with big feet. I buy most things from the internet now because there's nothing where I live.

I'm not in much today as I thought I'd spend the first official day of my maternity leave doing something useful! So I'm doing a Food & Hygiene course in the village hall from 9.30 - 4.30 today! I promise to finish the bathroom when I get home though! Also going via the recycling centre with my cartons on the way there so that'll be a few bits moved out the way!

Depends on what you use to post them with?
