and I have really wide calves so cannot get knee high boots at all.. and I really want some!

Me too:o I'm a size 8-10 but i have really chunky calves from all the sport i used to do. Cant get knee high boots for love nor money.

I'm in on this weight loss malarkey, would like to lose about 10 pounds before my birthday in april so a fairly sensible target, are exercise dvds any good? I was thinking about davinas new one as it is based on military exercise which sounds good. Dont have time to play sport at the moment unfortunately as my rugby was very good for toning, just a shame about all the black eyes!

We have had 64 new flypeople since Christmas...

I wonder how many will last until the end of the month (week, or day)?

    Good Luck newbies!

    Morning all

We have snow, not masses but enough to make most things white. It is snowing now - Woody keeps tapping the window at it.

DS1&2 gone to school so just DS3 to contend with.

I've already done a HHC upstairs tidying/collecting washing.

Off to the shower now and to clean the bath and then the living room and the christmas tree is the mission for the rest of the day.

Hex - OMG I remember that post - I think I was quite new to flylady then and I remember being so inspired that somebody had done it - I didn't realise it was you, I often wondered how 'the person' who did it kept up - and now I know.

Dusty - I did keep very much on top of it for three months till we moved! Don't forget though I only had a small terrace to clean and a garden we couldn't use becuase of the boys. I was thinking about it last night and I need to get my backside in gear and get back there. I know it is achievable if I can be bothered, and this time the children are older so it *should* be easier.

I think the key thing is that I need to spend less time on the computer. I have a blackberry so I don't have the checking e-mail for consultancy excuse. I am banning all non essential spending just in case DH's job does go so I shouldn't be on hotukdeals anyway.

Anyway, hugs for all those in need, and hello to everyone else. Time to switch the computer off and go and do something boring but useful instead. Cardboard to the tip, trip to Aldi and then to work on the bathroom.

 I'm here and freeeeeeeeeezing! No snow though which is typical, get the cold and none of the perks  However I have no trousers on as I can't find any clean ones and I have wet hair which doesn't help. Forced myself to have a shower this morning and it was bloney cold, I was like this when I got out  Thinking about going on the hunt for some wall electric heaters for the shower room and the bathroom, just need them for an hour or so each time someone wants a bath/shower.

All three children are still in bed! I heard DD2 cry briefly before 6am, and I lay there wondering whether to go and get her and then she went quiet again. So I think my plan of action is to light a fire in the lounge and in my study, go and find some trousers and then get DD2 up for some milk and breakfast.

:hello: to all newbie people as well :D
