I'm glad some of you have had a busy morning... I'm supposed to be working, but can barely find room to type on my desk, so there will be some decluttering and bill paying going on ...

It snowed here last night but appears to be melting...

JillD - I'm just south of you... between Basingstoke & Newbury. And yes, it's been cold. I've just done my imeasure stats for the week, and my gas figures for last week are the highest since I started in July! Then again, I did spend rather a lot of time at home instead of in the nice warm office.

Anyone who was freaked out by my list last week needs to know that it was only possible due to the 5 months I've spent on this thread. Although I rarely manage to keep up with everything on Pigpen's lists (due to working silly hours like a lot of the rest of you), I get enough done, and have enough structure to my weekend catch-ups, that a full blitz of the house is actually manageable.

Think I'd better do some work... at least checking my mail anyway! I'll catch up with you later!

Your last comment sounds like the old childrens TV programme I used to watch - Why don't you..... (switch off your TV and go and do something less boring instead...)

Clean the sinks, baths, toilets, showers etc
Declutter the manky bathroom floor
Level Two
Wash the window and clear the sill
Fling out all the empties from the bathroom
Wipe the mouldy bits away
Level Three
Scrub down the tiles.. defrag the pc while you do this!.. or virusscan or spyware scan
Wash/vacuum the floor
Wash the shower curtain/screen, curtains/blinds etc
Extras

1. Empty and clean out the bin
2. Polish the mirrors
3. Declutter the desk.. make it shine

Utility Room

1. Tidy
2. S & S
3. Hoover & Mop

My MACAW this week is to clear my ironing basket every day unless there are fewer than 5 items in there.

I'm now not starting my course until Feb as i have all my wisdom teeth coming out on 17th of Jan and would need the week off. It gives me a bit more time with Ds2 even if he does drive me mad;).

I'm going to do another HHC 10.05-10.35.

Am chuffed now as office finally has no clothes piled up on the bed - all hung up/folded up and put away... :j Now I can do my MACAW and keep on top of it as I wash it - am fed up with it being everywhere (was a load from suitcases plus everything washed when we got back - seemed never ending...)

Going to get washed and dressed now because the parcel man will be here soon to collect my phone which has to be exchanged - doesn't switch off after a call, pain in the butt keep taking the battery out to stop it...:mad:

Anyway, don't look very fetching in long johns and dressing gown with hair WORSE than hagrids... might scare him off and I need the new phone... :rotfl: See you in a bit for a cuppa...

I've been trying to get into the habit of cleaning the loo and sink and wiping the mirrors (DH sprays on it when he's doing his teeth ) last thing at night before I go to bed.

Not a lot left to do on that list. Apart from the usual WM/TD/vac/dust dailies, I'm going to finish, or nearly finish making my bag (need to make my own bias binding :eek:) I'd love to post a pic when it's done but I'm not allowed to post attachments - how come some people can?

Whizzing through this this morning! Might even make a start on the kitchen now! Thanks, ladies, the thread is definitely what I need to motivate me. I quickly went back to my old, lazy ways when I stopped joining in.
