May I make an announcement!!!
MY CRAFT ROOM IS NOW USABLE!!!!!
I say usable because I can get in, the floor is reasonably clear and I can get to the desk.
I was determined to get sorted in there today, and I did it!!!!!
WOOOHOOOO me!
And I managed to get DP's clothes into the large set of drawers(with a few exceptions,) I've told him to get rid of some of his old tat. He's got more clothes than me!!!!
SO its either me or the clothes hehe. An' It Harm None, Do As Thou Will

Evening all
Dinner is in, I've just about thawed out and am going to sit and read my fab book until it has cooked! Hope to at least do a load of washing tonight if not any real flying. I'm working from home tomorrow so will have almost 3 extra hours when I'd usually be travelling so hopefully can get most of it done. Hope to catch up more later, though probablt not on all the pages!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Jill - i'll give you a hug for leaving work and that lot don't know what they're losing!!!! Massive hugs xx
I've just had a thought.....{here we go says half the forum} once we've paid off the 0% card I won't have to, in theory, work because the amount we pay off that every month is what I earn being part time. Now, I love my job so there's no way i'm giving it up but it will nice not to have the pressure to HAVE to work. It also means I can do a full day or two mornings at the hospice. I'm happy.
Oh, nearly forgot, I got a letter today and this time I am entitled to the employment (or whatever it's called) support. Not a lot but it will mean the children can eat!!! Now, if i'd not broken my wrist last year I wouldn't know I owed £8 to them and I wouldn't have been able to claim. So, I was obviously meant to break my wrist:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: .
As you can see from my ramblings i'm overtired! xx0 -
jill - I had no idea about you leaving work as I've not managed to keep up this week. sounds like they don't deserve you. big hugs.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Well Friday's list is done really my daughters room is tidy as she has to keep it that way. I do not have a spare room, and my dad cleans his own room. I do have a lot of my stuff in his room but both me and him are going through it at the weekend.
I think 2moz instead of following the list I will concentrate on the kitchen and bathroom. My extra's for 2moz will be getting some more laundry done and mop the down stairs toilet floor.
I will have to make a list of what I need to do.
The house is starting to look nicer, so thanks to all the guys that make this thread happen. This is the first time that I have followed the list's properly so am really pleased with the things that are finally sorted out.
Only problem is I am so sleepy, just found my discharge sheet and it does state on there no heavey lifting for 6 weeks. I have only had nearly 5 weeks and have been heavey lifting oops. (I think its nearly 5 weeks had the op on the 4th Dec) Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -
The trouble with my kids is that you say they won't have something and they say "ok"  :rotfl:
That's probably because they don't think you'll do it - mine used to say that until I actually started following up - then they moaned like hell, but when I said it's your own fault they had no answer - I just don't want to hear it... it does work, just be strong about it...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
