When I have hot chocolate I heat up the milk, grab a heaped spoonful of chocolate, dip it in the milk and then use my tounge to get the top melted layer off, then dip again...once that spoonful is done I'll have another. Mr G isn't happy with me sticking the spoon back into the tub though ;)

    'tis a bit unhygienic :D

Jeans almost dry so I've shoved them in for a few more minutes, potatoes in oven, bread is not rising because the kitchen is so cooooooold! My feet and ankles are really sore with the cold. I think I'm going to have to get some slippers - boot type ones. I did have a pair, but the soles were so slippery and one day I was walking downstairs carrying DD2 when she was probably just 3, and I slipped  Luckily I managed to hold on to her so she didn't get hurt, but I threw the offending slippers away. Ones with a rubbery sole would be good.

Just off upstairs to do a last minute tidy round and put pjs on the radiators so everyone gets into snuggly warm ones.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh lost my list again, would it be possible to have 2 fly lady thread, 1 for list and 1 for chat. (Please dnt smack my bum and send me to the naughty corner)

We all do that ZLS - I copy mine to a word document and save it on my desktop - some write it out - others do the same as you but bookmark it...

If you have a seperate list, you don't always have to pop on here either, which can be a time saver too as I am always tempted to read when on here (and reply - I'm supposed to be doing the kitchen...!)

Justamum...well yeah but the best way to have it :rotfl:

Can I send my DD1 back to school. She's come in, started whinging right away and then was talking to her reflection saying that she's going to ignore me and she likes her room dirty
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

I'm considering having a cleaning rota up in the kitchen and giving myself a little gold star every time I empty the dishwasher straight away or something like that!

Brilliant words of wisdom there Jennybee - and why not have a star chart? It works for kids. You might want to put it in code so 'outsiders' don't know what you're doing though - My Mum is a prime example and thinks I'm nuts with my lists (not just flylady ones) so it would just give her something else to talk about... not that I care, it's all in good fun :D (they seem to think I have OCD - god knows how with the state of my house) mind, I think I have a little OCD person hidden inside trying to get out of the chaos - I love order and symmetry - things have to be just so when they're actually done (apart from pegs! :D )

Lilly is adorable OJK:D How old is she? She looks about the same size as my DD (she's 5). I struggle to get uniform to fit her too, she is currently wearing M&S skirts age 3 and they fit perfectly.

It gets worse, I just threw milk all over the ktichen (by accident) and have had to clean it off every imaginable surface!

THink I may just give up....

Deep breath, coffee/tea first then you can do it... think you need to take a step back and have a break for a min - don't stress yourself, it's just housework and will still be there when you've recovered from the heart attack you're going to give yourself if your not careful... :D:D
