Back from collecting DS2 from Beavers, tried to get boys to bed but they are being yoyos! Needed to take DP stuff he'd forgot....like KEYS to the school, doh, so had to drive through to Jarrow, 3 cars fell off the road, one was being stupid when he went past me, hit some sleet that was coming down and kersplat!

soappie I couldn't agree more with dietchef, maybe perfect for those who buy just ready meals anyway, yak, I do wonder how many use the service, something I would never have thought of but a good idea in theory as it would stop someone buying 'extras' and help someone stick to a specific eating plan.
Reya, I set up mine as DD as I got sick of payments being stated as late, I know improvements were being made to the time it takes for payments to go out **edit AnW'sMum resident expert explained that better!

So Nicki has been here since the forum was all new and shiny? Getting ALL her posts thanked is going to be a massive challenge then....

:rotfl::rotfl: I mainly hung out here, Freebies and the odd posting elsewhere now and then... doubt you'll find them all :o

  • Back again.

Managed to take the Christmas tree down. Took me ages to sort the lights out they were all tangled up.

Kids came back while I was doing it and they wanted to keep ithe tree up. Fed and watered them straight away. Cleaned and put away the dishes straight away. It has been the first time in ages I have done that.

Managed to get ds1 bathed and pj on by 7pm only to find out that ds2 had fallen asleep downstairs. Had to put him straight to bed.

I have not been able to put my kids to bed that early at anytime. It feels great and I hope I can keep this up.

Bathroom is still very clean for the 2nd day running. I keep checking it every time one of the kids come out.
Kitchen is clean also. This was a huge task for me. Glad it has been done now. My fridge smells so fresh but it is very empty.

I have even done ds1 lunch box for tomorrow. yeahhhhh.

Argh! Tomorrow Mr G is working till 6pm and then out for a meeting and I need to be to Weight Watchers for 5.30pm and my mum is having the children. However I've just realised that DD1 has Brownies from 4pm till 5.30pm which is nowhere near where my parents live. I won't be finishing till at least 6.30pm. Sooo I either need to hope my mum will come out and get her, or that she can stay with her friend down the road for an hour or so! I blame it all on Mr G who was supposed to be finishing work at 5pm and then got his hours changed.

Anyway haven't done much this evening, I've been moping and trying to decide whether to go to the doctor or not.

heya can someone please explain about thanking posts? I understand you do it if you find something helpful, but to get every single post thanked? I don't get it, or is it just a case of being nice to each other?

  • Somnium - We tend to thank everything on here - (but we are mad) , more as a way of keeping up-to-date with what we've read or not (BTW have just been in and thanked all your posts on different threads :D) - I blame Oddjob - he started the trying to get everyone's thank yous and posts tallying at New Year

ETA found another couple for AnW - I'm only 11 short if anyone fancies a go!
    I'd rather be watching CSI!
