Greenbee Happy Birthday :bdaycake: and thank for the vouchers they arrived this morning.

Toot glad your appointment went ok.

I've done very little today, went to eason and it was closing down (only that store but to be honest i wouldn't be surprised if the whole chain closed) and managed to get £40 worth of stuff for a tenner.:money: I'm totally shathered today so think i'll head to bed once i get the kids to bed.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Right. Well I didn't want to just sit here like a lump, refreshing this and a few other threads on MSE, so I logged into my online banking, opened up my Excel spreadsheet for my 2009 budget, and balanced the books, as it were. (Hey, I can be productive and make my finances sparkle while I rest my feet!)

Funny thing I noticed. Whenever I realise a CC payment is due in the next couple of days (and I pay it immediately) it usually doesn't show on my bank statement until a day or so after the due date. And I get charged £12 for the privilege of being late with my payment.

However, I paid three CCs on Sunday, all of them well before the due dates. Strangely, the amounts are all showing on my bank statement as coming out immediately on Monday.

    Hrm...
I was cut out to be rich, but got sewn up wrong.

:bdaycake: Happy Birthday greenbee - sorry I thought it was tomorrow:o

Thanks for the vouchers BTW they arrived yesterday.

Toots - glad it wasn't too bad at the hospital.

Haven't caught up with all the thread yet - hardly surprising - but I may do later as DH isn't back until about 9.

Finished work - went to the library (and they waived my fines) - then to Asda.

    Anyone up for a HHC 6.30 - 7?

    evening all

rather tired tonight and soooo cold in here! Thankfully not too much hanging around on platforms on the way home tonight. Dinner is in and I'm gonna catch up on a few pages on here whilst it finishes.

Not sure I'll get far with the flying: want to bath and flop tonight. Kitchen is actually pretty ok (usually is as I can't stand it messy or dirty) so will s&s it but that will probably be about it!
Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j
  • Right - DS2 bathed and in his cot, he drank 3oz milk, will try and sleep feed him later.
Best go start Dinner and I'm in for the HHC juliejim.
