Argh!!! I go to work for the day and you lot go mad and post loads of messages...I have skimmed the last few page
Happy birthday Greenbee
Hello new peoples
Hugs to any poorlies
I have had a long day at work and have more stuff to do tonight (sob!)
so apart from my normal evening routines my only list for tonight is to put away the ironing and put some old clothes into the charity bag (mind you they want it back Thursday, doesn't give me much time for a sort out then does it???)
will call back later!:jGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
Just a quick update, managed to feed ds2 couldn't get any milk into him as he is teething so I made some semolina with his milk and he ate the lot! Got dinner on - Lamb stew is bubbling away. Tidied the lounge, they're were toys everywhere, DS1 helped (had to bribe him with a choccy biccy, but he did dring a glass of milk as well).
Right - Off to bath DS2 and put him down for 6pm.
And my list as I am just doing level 1 at the mo looks like this:
Monday Mayhem..
Level One
Clean the sinks, baths, toilets, showers etc
Declutter the manky bathroom floor
Tuesday - tinklings
Level One
Clear and wipe kitchen worksurfaces
Sweep the floor!Housework only gets noticed when it's not done.My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them. Can never keep up with the thread - otherwise I'll never get anything done! But hugs to All :grouphug:XxX0 -
jjef - meant to say earlier but forgot, the flowers in your avatar are lily of the valley, one of my favourites, I just love the prefume! They're funny little plants, and won't grow for everyone. I've tried several times to get them going, but they don't want to live with me. Mum has a patch in the border, just where she had a new greenhouse put up, and now they come up inside the greenhouse!
mudbath - are you feeling better now?
zebedee - okay, just dive in tomorrow - or today if you like! Check out the first post on the thread, and to begin with, just go for Level 1. Treat yourself to a coffee, or whatever, when you've done it, and admire your work. Then, if you want to, try the Level two or instead, choose one of the extras. Do not carry work over to the next day (until you've been flying for a while, when it is much easier!), but wait until that room comes round again next week. If you find it hard to get motivated, then try joining in one of the HHC's or Half Hour Challenges, which are regularly posted during the day - put the music on loud, go for it, then after half an hour, post back to tell us all what you've achieved - it's much more bearable if you know everyone else is doing it as well, and there's a certain competitive element! If you find you're losing too much time on other things, then set a timer, and stop when it goes off - you could use reading/knitting/comping time as your reward! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Thanks serena, Ihave been able to grow them at the new house but previous house wouldn't take them, they remind me of my mum who didint like them or their scent and was for every digging them up to get rid and they kept reappearing!!0 -

) I'm sitting here with my feet and ankles submerged in an old washing-up bowl full of hot water and Radox. (I moved the computer leads and assorted extension cords well out of the way first!)
Managed a S&S of the kitchen counters, but had to give up on sweeping the floor; it twisted my ankles too much. I've put the heating on full blast for a bit; the house is too chilly to strip off for a hot bath just yet!I was cut out to be rich, but got sewn up wrong.0
