All our savings are in individual names but I know if huuby needs cash or vice versa we just move it from one to another.......actually that all sound ar*e over t*t but it suits us. I wouldn't want to take money out of our joint account to buy him a birthday pressy...but would be happy for him to transfer money from his account into mine if I was left short. Yep it's offical i'm nuts, I've read that back and its bonkers!
Hi TPA,

Hi TPA
Me and DH do the same with the accounts even though he'd be happy for us just to have a joint one I like having my own account.
Am very impressed by your Xmas shopping :T I've only just got round to writing a list!
Good luck with the AFchallenge, I think I may join you if thats ok?
How is your back feeling? I hope it is better. I've never tried a chiropractor but see a lady who does osteopathy and she sorts me out.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

hmmmmm its a lonely place this AF challenge, either everyone else is already very good!
As for the who has strange banking habbits, it seems most of us do! Must be a Martin:money:thing!
I have finally sorted out my [STRIKE]spread sheet[/STRIKE] note book (sorry GG and Stuart) We are currently running at 60.11% of savings offset against the mortgage. So thats £978 we need to save per month (actually that figure is way out as it doesn't account for mortgage payments up til then!:rotfl:) Oh I wish my brain would work, lets round it up and say £650 per month should cover it (more than) to pay off by my 40th:eek: Sometimes I wonder how we have come this far with my mathimatical brain:rotfl:.

mmmm, well sat here with a pint of Directors in front of me just proves this challenge is far beyond me, but I'll try to limit to one pint when I do drink Mon-Thurs, and only have a beautiful Scottish single malt on two nights. However, don't count me in just yet, I'm in the middle of the budget planning for work for 2010 which is always stressful!0 -

Hic. Can't see me joining just yetA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hey I'll join - not that I drink that much. When did/does it start? Haven't had a drink since Saturday - so that's 2 AFDs.0 -
No point me joining the challenge - I can count the number of glasses of wine or any alcohol I've had in the last 2 months on one hand.
We have a joint account and a bills account. Bills account is only in my name as its my graduate account and has the 0% overdraft. We have savers which are in mostly my name as I opened them, but both know all the log in details and have the ability to access any of them. No issue about money coming out the joint account for pressies, we tried keeping things seperate until we get married but it was more hassle than it was worth!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
