  • Ok this is a quicky! In between jobs!

So it seems we are all either alcholics or t totalers! I'm on [STRIKE]day[/STRIKE] night three! Doing well!
Sml how on earth did you refuse free wine, I think if its free it shouldn't count;)
Setmefree I started Sunday so you are up-to-date
Actually next couple of nights should be easy for me, I'm working tonight and will get home about 9.30pm and tomorrow my mum has an evening group that she wants me to attend with her so that will probably be fairly late. So its just Thursday I have to deal with:cool:
Mortgage Reduction Novice you will deserve more than a glass after all that cooking!
GG when you return from holiday I expect you to join us! (and I don't mean in a glass or two!)
Stuart if you are doing spread sheets you should have whiskey as well (as long as it is accounted for within said spread sheets:rotfl:)

Taka and Dinah all I can say is::A

    So far we have:

    AF (Alcohol Free) members:

    1. TPA
    2. Sml
    3. setmefree2
    4. Mortgage Reduction Novice

If i'm correct we are all AF since Sunday. Someone kick me if I'm wrong or if I've missed anyone. So are we aiming for five AF nights out of any week? Chose our own days/nights to suit (I don't drink in the day..honest it just sound weird!)

My back is feeling a lot better today, still a little achy but not bad at all.

Ok I better run, printing is just about done and I need some beans on toast before 2nd lot of work!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Alcohol and spreadsheets..... there really is no salvation for me after all, ahh well no alcohol yet and the sun was over the yard-arm hours ago and set since!

Now, a spreadsheet to include whisky has the mind working; what could one focus on?

Maybe age of the malt, price, ranking in terms of my favorites, of course that would require extensive [STRIKE]testing[/STRIKE] tasting to ensure I had the baseline information; then collate what I have left in the bottles (which is the hint then for the birthday and Christmas present wishes) :j:j:j

    TPA I love you! :A :beer::A
(although my OH may not be too happy at the modification to the household budget this will entail :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
  • As predicted yesterday was no problem on the AF challenge, I got home from work just after 9.30pm by which time I just wanted to go to bed!

Today I have a MShop which involves food:T Nom nom nom...chickennnnnnnnn.

I really must start picking up more MSs as earnings from these is looking pretty poor at the moment:eek:
I am back regularly doing my Tuesday evening job so thats an extra boost to the coffers, just as well considering the serious spending thats been going on and the lack of enthusiasm for MShops at the moment (more like lack of time really).

Of course I will be saving money on wine by not drinking during the week-actually thats quite scary it could add up to a fair bit even though I always purchase on Tesco double up vouchers or mega deals:rotfl:. At least the garage stash should stay well stocked for a while longer!:p

Okies doctors appointment calls so i'm off to get dressed! Yep its 10.30am and i'm still in my jim jams!:D

    Edit...stuart loves meeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm still AF, how are the rest of my team bearing up?

Good news both hubby and I got a cheque from Tescos closed accounts, totalling £170 (was the interest we were owed):j

  • :DI'm so BRAVE:D

I had my flu jab...I even took my mummy with me! (yes I am 37 years old but she needed it too, so I took her to hold my hand, thing is she made me go first!)

    AF update:

    AF (Alcohol Free) members:

    1. TPA is a saint:Ahas had no alcohol since Saturday:A

    2. Sml has had two flaggons of cider!:rotfl:
    3. setmefree2 is aslo a saint:A
    4. Mortgage Reduction Novice as far as I know is also saintly:A

Sml the tesco cheques have gone straight into the bank to try and cover part of the massive spends we have had this month! (Although I did purchase a lovely necklace and earings earlier (£20 spend) - I blame my Mum, we go to have a flu jab and she finds a lovely little local shop selling all sorts of unusal stuff and buys me a gorgeous braclet (to thank me for everything over the last few weeks-like she never does anything for me:o) So I HAD to get the necklace and earings, it would have been rude not too!

I have just done an MS and it will not let me enter the results as it is saying the times are wrong, I have checked and checked again and they are right...ahhhhhh!!

My 'boot buddy' has finally arrived to help ward off lots of ginger dog hairs, I am flattening it under my rug before attepmting to put it in the car!

I think I forgot to mention that I had to buy car mats on Wednesday, they cost me £44:eek: I wouldn't mind but they are not even pink (GG);)

Goota rush, friend in need xx
