Ops, I've had a [STRIKE]glass[/STRIKE] bottle of Cava! Worse than that I've ordered my mother £49 worth of craft stuff online and an X/box summit or other for £129 - both its on grabbit board...thing is I don't want/need an x-box but they said that at £129 it was a bargain and I love a bargain and being under the influence I had to try and order one...didn't I?
Blooning ek a week off the wine, Friday comes I drink a bottle and order over £170 worth of stuff one line....................someone show me the way to my beddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd.........
oh dear. I blame Stuart and GG:rolleyes:

OH dear, how are you feeling today?!!
Heads clear, I slept well although I am very thirsty!
Got an email from Amazon saying they have cancelled the order due to an error (probably just as well as thats an xbox I don't need to find a home for!) so it was just a £40 ish blow out:eek:
I've had my hair cut for the first time in months, I don't look like i've been dragged though a bush backwards now.....well at least my head doesn't!
Last night, hubby told off the dog and so he went upstairs and peed all over our bed (the dog not the hubby!), thats bad enough but I only put our brand new winter quilt on about a week ago:eek:. NEVER take on a rescue dog, or you too could get a mad devil of a dog that can sulk better than a teenage girl, eats walls, chews carpets and pees all over your bed:mad:
Hoping to have a quiet Saturday afternoon and evening!

Morning all.
Just spent ages writting a reply and the computer ate it!
Last night I was very good and only sucumbed to two small bottle of lagers, am now wondering if I can be good again this week and have no alcohol until Friday:cool:.
I forgot to share some bad news with you on Friday. Hubbys pay slip was some £120 short compared to the previous 6 months, he questioned his wages department who told him they had messed up his tax previously so this figure was now correct and would be for the rest of the year:mad::eek:. Bum bum £120 a month is lot to suddenly be down - I know we are lucky as we manage to save a big chunk every month but imagine if you have to live month by month, £120 is a massive amount to suddenly loose every month .
I have an MS to complete later....I must not forget!
Anyway the sun is shining the washing is blowing in the breeze so heres hoping for a beautiful day.

And how, pray tell, did I get the blame for your shopping?
I think you'll find it is a natural female tendency to want a "bargain" so I take no blame what-so-ever and would simply note that your tolerance for alcohol will drop of course, so don't expect it not to affect you on Friday's in future. Just hide the credit cards away so you can't order anything (unless you want to buy me a prezzie).
Hope you're ok now and forgiven the dog; rehoming such animals is important and I know what you mean about household items damaged, our rehomed cat claws our stair carpet and at doorways if we have the door shut :mad:0 -
Hi TPA
Boo to the wages department! How horrible to find out from your wage slip, you'd think they'd have warned him that what had happened.
Can I try to be AF for 4 days this week? There's some cider left in the fridge from saturday and I can hear it calling even from work!Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
Phase 1 - Emergency Fund - Complete :j
Phase 2 - £20,000 Mortgage Fund - Underway0 -
OMG yet again i type a long and rivetting reply and Martin eats it:money::mad::D.
Anyway with out the funny bits (!) it goes something like this:
I have failed this weeks challenge already, it is only Monday and the 2nd week of the challenge started Sunday; which was also the day I drank a pint of lager shandy! One small bottle of lager with diet 7 up...yum yum, but hardly worth ruining a challenge for:mad:
So this week wil hpefully be a Monday - Thurday challenge for me?
How are the rest of my AF team mates doing?
AF (Alcohol Free) members:
1. TPA - failed 2nd week on day one! So is aiming for 4 AF days.
2. Sml - is going for 4 days as those flaggons of cider are calling to her!:rotfl:
3. setmefree2 is still saintly and aiming for another 5 AF days.
4. Mortgage Reduction Novice is conspicuous (sp?) by her absence:rolleyes:
My log book has finally arrived so I now feel like I actual own the car that I have been driving around in for the last few weeks. I have done 430 miles in that time, mostly short journeys and the trip thingimy dodah (technical term!) says I still have 140 miles in the tank, it holds 53 litres so i'm quiet pleased with the mpg considering the carp journeys (around 50 ish). I really must fill up this week but wanted to see how many miles I could squeeze out of a tank! Note to oneself REMEMBER DIESEL not PETROL! Did I tell you I have looked up the tax cost for next year and it will be...wait for it.....drum roll, £30 for twelve months, I'm so impressed with that!?
CAn anyone out there stop me shopping on line? I don't know whats the matter with me, perhaps its alcohol withdrawel but my fingers keep tapping away at the keyboard adding things to baskets and then somehow my credit car details seem to fill in themselves and before I know if I've ordered more bits n pieces. Although I am very pleased with this mornings bargain, a little stocking filler for my neice: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...A3P5ROKL5A1OLE comes with watch, necklace and purse! thanks to the grabbit board (again!) for that!
