Finally joined my local Freecycle group, its fabulous, I have given away- two rugs, cushions, cat basket and two business books, in return i have got a mug tree and some videos for the MIL:rotfl:
In fairness I am also waiting for someone to get back to me with some microwave brackets that i could really do with.
I do ebay things but sometimes its just not worth it, it is nice to make some space in the spare room.
NSD today, not even used the car lol
Finally got round to setting up the Wii fit...its so funny, it says my fit age is 40..ops i'm only 36 in real years and hubby is 51:rotfl: thing is he is actually younger than me! This is the kick up the bum we needed to get fitter..obviously the twice daily walks with the dog are just not enough.
Hope you are all well

Me again, sorry if i'm boring you...but I really feel the need to keep this diary to keep me on track.
Good news on the savings front, both been paid and managed to put across £1,750 to the savings accounts. (This is NOT going to be possible every month but it is a good start to the year:money: )
Would be very happy if we could manage £1,000 a month on average
Took lunch again yesterday, no takeaways planned but one bottle of wine drunk:p
Anyone here on a water meter? We are now paying £28.50 a month, this is for a three bed house, two adults one very smelly dog and a lovely clean cat! Just wondering how we are doing, is that a reasonable amount?

Hi TPA,
That's a fantastic amount onto the savings. Great start to the year!
On the water meter front - we have 2 adults and 3 children aged 8, 3 and 9 months. We've just had our bill and we are now being charged £40 per month. Wish I was back under the standard water rates - very cheap compared to the meter.
