Are you able to chase them up at all about getting paid the money?
I have tried calling and emailing wages department but as I work for the NHS nothing moves quickly, especially when it comes to paying out money!
Tell me you don't sing at the top of your voice!?! I have a neighbour who does this...
Erm, yes I do, I think we might be neighbours, I sing really well after a few budweisers:rotfl: , does that sound familiar?
OK, day off today, not done a great deal, except put the wahing machine on and hang out 3 loads...I love it when the weather is good enough to dry clothes outside.
I have relooked at our supermarket shopping budget, I am going to re-jig it to £250 a month, I know this is still a lot for 2 plus 2 (the plus two being pets!) but I want a realisitic goal than I can perhaps work on as the months go by. Also a weekly budget is difficult as I tend to bulk buy when things we use a lot of, so week by week my spends fluctuate greatly. My months will work from the 20th of one to the 19th of the next (thats the timescale of my CC which we put all shopping on as we get Tesco points in return- I hasten to add- it is paid off in full every month!) So new month about to start.
We have so many different 'regular savers' accounts now I really must set up a spread sheet to keep track.....this may be a job for hubby..he likes that sort of thing! (Well, I will make him think, he likes it anyway:rotfl: )

Sorry, but how can anyone love Abba???
If you want some music from that era they'll love then it would have to be Lynyrd Skynyrd, Boston or something heavier like Blue Oyster Cult or Rainbow. Of course, my musical tastes are in no way a reflection of me turning 44 last week.... mmm time for some Hendrix then Dirty Pretty Things (just to bring things up-to-date methinks... :rotfl:
Sorry, who??:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:MFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!May 2013:j0 -

Another NSD today to go with yesterdays and the day before that:j
I have even managed to get hubby to agree we do not need a takeaway tonight, we are going out for a meal for mothers day on Sunday FGS:mad:It took a fair bit of nagging to convince him of this, but in the end 'it was his idea':rotfl: Well he thinks it was anyway!
Managed to sign up for a couple of mystery shopping thingys today, one for £20:j and one for £1.50:rotfl: I don't need to leave the house for either so 'easy money' I hope!

Look at the time! I'm up, dressed, dog walked, fed and watered and I've put washing on the line:D
I've decided to take last weeks impulse buy back (the tray with the nice legs:rotfl: )
So that will be £6 something, extra towards this weeks shop, Iblame my mother for me buying it in the first place, I'm terrible when i shop with her!
Anyway I think I might grap a cuppa and crawl back into bed:rotfl:

I have managed to get a few more 'Secret Shopping' jobs, hopefully I will get the hang of it:rolleyes:
I will do a 'to do list' tomorrow, and work a full day and do a secret shop on my way home:rotfl:

Sorry for this (yet again) self indulgent post. Even though I am too lazy to do a weekly roundup I HAVE worked ut our full savings for this month. Now I realise we cannot continue at this rate, but thanks to some well overdue work payments I have managed to put away £1300 that added to husbands £1500 makes a fandabidozy £2800 this month:j .........someone pick me up, i'm felling faint:o
Am off to update my sig
TPAx
Edit: Just updated my signature and realised we are already at £6650 which is over half way to my/our(lol) target for the year. I need a glass of wine.MFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!May 2013:j0 -
