  • OK weekly shop done today a grand total of £37.17 which included £5 on a large box of dishwashing tablets and a tray that cost £6.84:eek: (but its a nice tray with legs:p ) so actual shopping under £30....if only I could do that every week...sigh.....

Just signed up for my first 'mystery shopping' 3 in total its tough going you need to remember so much...and I may end up looking like a burger:cool: Need to register for tax purposes now, as in my main job they tax me at source does anyone know if I need to include this on my tax forms as it could get complicated..or will they just accept this happens and let me acknowledge the extra jobs I do??? Sorry im not sure that made sense!!

  • Did a complete count up of all the money work owes me other than my basic wages...it comes to a massive £1650!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure wether to be excited:j ot just annoyed  that they take so long to pay! I'm sure it will come to me in dribs n drabs over the next few months, but i'm impatient and its MY money that should be in MY savings accounts! I am thinking I might have a 'little' blow out when the main bulk comes through, I would love a CD player for the kitchen, I have a nice one in the living room but I have to turn it up really loud to hear it in the kitchen and i'm not sure my neighbours have the same love for ABBA as I do!:rotfl: Its strange before I would have just gone out and bought it but now I really have to think about it, which is good...i think:confused:
Anyway a NSD for me today:j Took my lunch (mums homemade soup, yummy) and extra hours worked so Iam on track!

No items advertised yet though... must do that Thursday at the latest!

and i'm not sure my neighbours have the same love for ABBA as I do!:rotfl:

Sorry, but how can anyone love Abba???

If you want some music from that era they'll love then it would have to be Lynyrd Skynyrd, Boston or something heavier like Blue Oyster Cult or Rainbow. Of course, my musical tastes are in no way a reflection of me turning 44 last week :o .... mmm time for some Hendrix then Dirty Pretty Things (just to bring things up-to-date methinks... :rotfl:

Its strange before I would have just gone out and bought it but now I really have to think about it, which is good...i think:confused:

Yes it is good to consider things carefully before purchase but remember you are allowed to buy things, just ensure you get good value from them MSE-wise :A

Why not bung a request for a CD player on Freecycle? Hmmmm, not sure on either of your musical tastes though - early Rod Stewart anyone
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Do you have a birthday coming? Anniversary? Easter gift "for the house"? or any other excuse really;)signs_143.gif

PS I quite like a bit of ABBA and I do own Mama Mia. (French & Saunders spoof on mama Mia on comic refielf was v v funny.) Though I must hastily add that I am a Radio 1 listener and am in no way uncool in the musical taste department laughing.gif
