  • Good Day today, took my lunch, had a no spend (other than M&S vouchers) and signed up to three mystery shopping companies. If they work out I will have to register for tax also..poo!!

Booked valuation for tomorrow...ek must do some house work:rolleyes:

Tried to 'touch up' (aw that sounds rude:eek: ) paint work on dining room...big mistake, used the wrong shade of the many magnolias we have, and it looks far worse than when I started:mad: Will have to re paint the whole room now, aw well I have Friday off, one problem though, I'm no good at painting:rotfl:

Right i'm off to file some paper work..its exciting my life!!

Well done on the NSD. Apparently with being able to fill out the tax forms online now its much easier than it used to be - I hope the mystery shopping goes through ok.

I'm sure your paintings fine TPA, think how nice the room will look on Saturday!
Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck :)

    Lucky you :rotfl::rotfl:
  • I wish too!!! Only in my dreams:rotfl:

Well day off today, its lunch time & i've not achieved a lot except sorting out the two car files!!

Think I will leave the painting until tomorrow...I keep thinking I might wake up and find the fairys have done it for me:rotfl:

Have been persuaded into taking my mum out to a charity event tonight, sigh ........money spending, although it is for a good cause.

Must go and log into some of the 'mystery shopping' sites i've joined and see if there are any available jobs

Hope your all having a good day

    Buy NO magazines in 2009

Have you thought of asking for subscriptions to your fave magazines for birthday and christmas presents?

I love BBC Good Food but think it's a bit of an extravagance. Now my Mum & Dad buy me a year's subscription for my birthday which they renew every year.

Result: I get to keep reading my magazine - Mum & Dad don't have to rack their brains for what to get me.

    Simple but effective!!!

What a great idea, saves getting things I will never use for gifts too!!
This Christmas I gave lots of family magazine subscriptions paid for with Tesco vouchers, never thought to gift one to myself!! Although I have to say i'm not really missing them!

Hubbys just been paid so I have sorted out all his DDs etc and he has been able to move over £1500 into savings this month:j I will forgive him the £20 he withdrew from his bank today now:mad: (men..they never learn)

Just need to wait for my pay and the credit card bill now to see how much more we can put away this month. Also need work to pay me some of the expenses and extra hours they owe me, next month is going to be a shock to the system as I will be down to four days a week then...eek:eek: Anyway I'm sure my sanity must be worth it!
