hi, hope you dont mind me barging in on your thread but I am desparately hunting for a spreadsheet to use for spending etc while my toddler is asleep! I have tried various times to make my own but failed miserably! Has anyone got a template I can use or a link to find one please? Would really appreciate it as keep losing bits of old envelopes I am writing things on and would like to be a bit more organised and on top of things!! Thanks if anyone can help!0

hi, hope you dont mind me barging in on your thread but I am desparately hunting for a spreadsheet to use for spending etc while my toddler is asleep! I have tried various times to make my own but failed miserably! Has anyone got a template I can use or a link to find one please? Would really appreciate it as keep losing bits of old envelopes I am writing things on and would like to be a bit more organised and on top of things!! Thanks if anyone can help!

Now i'm not sure if your teasing me, but continuing with my 'i'm blonde theme' I will answer anyway!
Copy and past any text into your reply, (right click copy, place in correct location then right click and paste:p ) then highlight the text you want to quote and click on the 5th button from the right hand side- looks like this...
then it will put the quotes around it.
I'm clever!

Seriously, you just hit quote as usual then in the text enter "[/quote]" followed by your own text, then put "" for the next quoted bit both without the speech marks of course.
In html terms you are creating containers to hold the quoted text between the opening container tag "quote" and closing container tag "/quote"
