  • I'm all confused again now lol xxxxxxxxx
MFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!
    May 2013:j
  • I've just spent £199.99 but on the Amex so will get 5% back..even so that means i've still spent £189.99:mad:

    Hubbys fault...honest:rolleyes:

I mentioned a while ago I fancied a Cd player for the kitchen so I can sing along to Abba:rotfl:

Well hubby fancied a new DVD player (ours is one of the originals and massive) and Sony have a DVD surround system with CD player etc. RRP £279 but £229 in a few places but i've found it for £199.99, so a bargain, right:confused: and I HAD to get it!(Womens logic)
    Here it is :
    http://www.sony.co.uk/product/hcs-surround-kit---dvd-player/dav-dz360

So now the living room CD player can go into the kitchen, and the new all singing (no pun intended) all dancing machine for the living room. I'm sure it will be to technical for me!

We are purchasing it with part of hubbys bonus:j , we also need a new fridge feezer:mad: , this will come out of the bonus too and then the rest into savings.
Aprils savings are going to look really healthy:T , and although we have done really well since January its not sustainable at the same rate for the rest of the year (bum!).
My earnings are going to drop from next month, the current accounts are virtually dry and I have sold most of our carp...ahem lovely items we no longer need. so unless I sell the dog (now theres an idea:p ) things are going to slow down dramatically. Although our target will stay at £850 a month, I am hoping to acheive £1,000 [STRIKE]most[/STRIKE] all months May - Dec. Those shopping bills are going to have to come down, with Stuarts spreadsheets I'm sure I (we) can do it:A

  • Can you beleive another week has passed?

    Anyway heres my round-up:

We are cash poor at the moment, so I will have to find some-way of getting some other than robbing a bank:rotfl: Erm, no banks with any money worth robbing!
Paint the dining room (yes its a re-occuring theme) Erm-guess what? Yep, i've not done it!
Sign up for and complete as many 'mystery shopping' assignments (although I feel like i'm back at school with all the 'homework' some of them require:rotfl: ) Signed up to two more companies
Shop around for car insurance (mine is due next month)-see last weeks challenge! Yeh got it for just over £150!!:j
Work one evening (I like to add this one as its easy pessy lemon squezzy) Yes-did it!
Do a BIG shop and have a days cooking and freezing -Who put that in there??
Work hard on hubby to keep him 'on track' hes easily distracted by lovely electrical items - ops ordered a DVD/CD player thingy
Research new fridge freezer, ours is on its last legs - researched DVD/CD instead:rotfl:
Order cat food on line-much cheaper than from the vets (needs special diet) Done cost £40 - should last 3 - 4 months though

    Ok this week I must:
    • Sign up for more mystery shops
    • Sort, photograph and put items on Ebay
    • Work one extra evening
    • Research new Fridge Freezer- order at best possible price
    • Read and understand Stuarts spreadsheets he kindly sent me
    • Find put when House insurance due - get quotes as needed
    • Advertise items on works internet site
Aw thats enough :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Anyway, hows everyone?

Sorry to confuse you; it all seemed straight forward but I was jet lagged!

Anyway, I hope the spreadsheet helps with the budgeting and may point to a few areas for improvement along the way. Good luck for your to-do list, I think I "should" do one....

Copy and past any text into your reply, (right click copy, place in correct location then right click and paste:p ) then highlight the text you want to quote and click on the 5th button from the right hand side- looks like this...

Not the sort you would get any money for, he is a destructive:mad: heniz variety, about 70% devil:mad: (more on times) 20% terrier and 10% corgi!!! Bless, he really does look that funny too:rotfl: But we love him.
