I just posted on the baskets thread ... I realised about 20 mins ago that valentines day was a sat so I am really annoyed as I work sat nights so no valentines for us :( ... my OH said we can celebrate it on the fri or sun though bless him ...

Work is still non existant ... anyone in his trade will be struggling, things were supposed to start coming through in MArch, I just hope they do or there will be no internet, no cars, no food and probably no house!!

Fingers crossed for your OH Rusty it must be an awful worrying time. I've heard of so many people recently losing their jobs and its heartbreaking. I promised myself and OH and I will never moan about going into work again:o
You girls never cease to amaze me though even in these tough times you've still managed to put together beautiful hampers for Valentines. I am hanging my head in shame because I haven't bothered doing anything for my hubs - better get the thinking cap on lol x

Thanks guys.... it's tough but thanks to noseying through bits of this board we will survive ... well food wise etc ... bills will wait :rotfl: as long as we have somewhere to live and food then we will be fine. Problem we have is our mortgage is so high and we have enough money for the mortgage this month and the bills this month then thats it ... it has all gone

I was homeless with my son 6 years ago ... it was hell but we survived so I am well prepped incase the worse should happen this time and we loose the house, at some point I need to give OH a kick up the bum and wake him up as he doesn't seem to realise what it actually all means and is currently burying his head in the sand (or is it snow?), although I don't think OH's dad would let things happen like that ...

Right thats enough ... no more depressy stuff :D smile and be happy :D most of us have lovely OH's and beautiful children and very good MSE ways :D

https://www.greetz.co.uk/ are doing a free card (valentines day :) with free delivery (no c card details needed) when you register with them if anyone is interested.

Thanks for this - I can see the 'first card free' advert on the homepage but now that I've registered and have created a card I want to send it won't apply the discount and wants me to put in my card details - any idea how to sort it? What am I doing wrong? Thanks very much :)

    Make sure its 'standard'

You have to use the promotion code it gives you when you register. Hope this helps.
