im dyspraxic and on the keyboard 'e' comes before 'h' hence my confusion

all teh trendies just copied teh people with learning difficulties

if you read my posts i do it all the time and also i accidentally press the space bar too soon putting the last letter of the word before onto the start of the word after e.g. "th eposts"

    apols, hope i havent offended.
There's someone in my head, but it's not me
  • Having just read all 3 pages of this thread, I think that freebie_junkie needs thanking for the attempts he has made to support the team workers he used to be associated with. We have all encountered bad staff in many places, and mostly its in establishments that pay the lowest wages, have workers doing unpleasant tasks, and places with unsocial hours.
Its our demands for cheap food that generate these problems.

I never go into McD for healthy food, but neither do I go into a cake shop for healthy food either. I go into both with open eyes, and 99% of the time get what I expected.

When my kids were small, and maybe we went to London for the day, it was always a blessing to know that we were going to eat for £10, and we could budget for this advance.

McD etc serve a useful purpose if we keep them in perspective.

    THANKS freebie_junkie :hello:

  • Hmmm, I don't think I've ever had a Filet-o-Fish in less than at least 5 minutes... do you get the whole meal free or just what you were waiting for?

filets take 4 mins to cook (full time) if you dont live in an area that has a constant demand for them then you will have to wait full time coz if they kept putting them in the production bin regardless thyed all go to waste wouldnt they?!

so no, either choose a regular menu option or take a book :)

  • McDonalds is one of the best places to to assist with weight loss. I can't stand the food but on the rare occasions, when i've been that hungry while passing, i've gone through the drive through, and been greeted by somebody who fell out of the ugly tree and banged their head on every branch. After paying for it i drive to the next window to be given my 'food' by somebody with hair like they've been bobbing for chips. Strangely enough i'm always lost my appetite shortly after.

back to that eh? i started off in booth 1 so cheers a lot, plus you knwo that macdonalds smell of shortening you can smell for miles around?! try standing right next to the fryers you do get pretty greasy- the employees just go home and bathe, like when theyre shifts have finished.

I'm pretty sure all McDonalds restaurants are franchises. They just buy in McDonalds food and probably have a contract to use the McDo name and McDonalds do all the advertising as part of the fee for owning a license to use the McDo name.

Anyway, I heard a crazy story the other day from a friend about one of the McDonalds restaurants here (we have 2 ) that they don't have a cutting knife behind the counter for health & safety reasons  - apparently everything comes in pre-chopped.

it comes in pre-chopped for speed! ehy pay a guy to chop lettuce when a machine in teh factory can do it- geez you all make fun of my spelling then come out with stuff like that! at least i have an excuse!

  • A "FishMac" (:D) normally takes around 5 mins to make it's way to me... that isn't a grill, is it?

depends where you live, if you live in an area where more people would order fillets for religious reasons (i.e. they wouldnt eat teh meat coz its not hallal or kosher) then its not but if you dont it is.
