And the point is ,,,, ? You know they serve s**t anyway !

Seriously though, that is totally disgusting. I was in one of the restaurants in the Meadowhall Centre in Sheffield just before Christmas. A waiter filling the tubs with knives and forks dropped some on the floor then just casually picked them up and put them in the tub with the rest. Luckily we hadn't ordered so I took my family out and went to the one accross the mall. You do expect a certain level of hygene don't you?

As for "teh" spelling of the McD's employee - I noticed that too and had a slight smile, but didn;t want to mention it.

    (1) three mins from start of order to leaving counter (except in teh case of grill orders or breakfast or in the two hours before the store closes for the night)

What happens when it doesn't arrive within the stated 3 mins?
As an ex-employee, can you confirm that the contracts still state that if the food doesn't arrive within 3mins then the customer gets the meal for free?
I remember this was the big gimmick when McD's first arrived in the UK in the 80's....but it's not publicised anywhere now.
I only ask because my mate was also a FM and if he waits more than 3 minutes he asks for his meal and always gets a full refund. He last did this just before Xmas and the manager on duty was new and tried to fob him off with excuses. When a contract clause was quoted to him the food and the refund appeared and they couldn't get him out of the store fast enough.
    ???
  • no thats really no longer the case its become an urban myth

maybe teh guy was just fed up of ex-fm's quoting stuff at him?! :)

  • Hmmm, I don't think I've ever had a Filet-o-Fish in less than at least 5 minutes... do you get the whole meal free or just what you were waiting for?

McDonalds is one of the best places to to assist with weight loss. I can't stand the food but on the rare occasions, when i've been that hungry while passing, i've gone through the drive through, and been greeted by somebody who fell out of the ugly tree and banged their head on every branch. After paying for it i drive to the next window to be given my 'food' by somebody with hair like they've been bobbing for chips. Strangely enough i'm always lost my appetite shortly after.
