It doesn't stop her using a spell checker. And doesn't stop her from getting her facts straight (accusing me of commenting on her spelling).

Why should she have to use a spell checker?

In her post did she say 'Wig, the comments on my spelling etc etc' No.
She added an extra bit of text at the bottom of her post which was directed at everyone who had made a comment. Not you personally.

Errr, did I mention your attrocious spelling?

Members of this forum decided to vent against Mc D's and you said you resented it, were they venting against you personally? No. And yet you felt it appropriate to stand up for McD's. I turned your words (I resent) against your company to relate one of my experiences so why use the arguement that you "were not that boy" against my example? It makes no sense to do so.

And having worked in Mc D's myself I don't believe you that he would have been forced to wash his hands, I never was.

that comment was refering to the several peopel who had made comments. btw- if youd care to check peopel w ith dyspraxia/dyslexia dont spot mistakes straight away and sometimes never so a spell checker is no use coz how am i to know which is teh right spelling?

for my assignmebnts i have a computer programme which reads out and spells aloud all of my work but i dint think id need to do thsi on a forum coz it would take ages to write one post.

i thought once i explamed to peopel theyd understand. i apparently was wrong. :(

I can see both sides of the argument.

I have had a bad experience with McDonalds and I started a thread about it on this board a while ago.

I also have a relative who is a McDonalds employee at the moment. He is regularly sent home early if business is slow, so he loses pay through no fault of his own.

yeah theres a programme taht runs on the office computer from open to close and it gives various satistics every hour, and on is 'labour' which is how much you are paying in wages compared with how much your are making in proffit from teh food.

on busy days i had sometimes worked from 6am till 6pm without a break and was given food to take hoem with me (instead of teh free emal you get on breaks)

on slow days i had had so many breaks (theyre unpaid coz you get food instaed) that i went hoem making almost nowt but i was still there all day!

    Carrie,
She had allready pointed out to someone (who did comment on her spelling) in a previous post. She then directed a post directly at me, and added "plus, the comments on my spelling...etc etc " Don't try and cover up what was clearly a mistake by someone too lazy to check her facts are correct. Just like too lazy to use a spell checker.

    And to Freebie_Junkie(?),
If you use a spell checker the result would be a lot cleaner than the mess you are currently coming out with. at least all the words would be spelt correctly if not always the correct word.

Some would argue that a person with a disability should make an extra effort to overcome it rather than sitting back and using it as an excuse for slacking.

I DONT THINK YOU REALISE WHEN YOU ACCUSE ME OF BEING LAZY JUST HOW MUCH EFFORT IT TAKES TO MAKE ANYTHIG COM EOUT OF MY MOUTH OR MY KEYBOARD AT ALL!

I DROPPED OUT OF MY FIRST UNI BECARSE SOMEONE LIKE YOU LAUGHED AT ME AND MADE A BIG DEAL WHEN I GOT CONFUSED DURING A SEMINAR PRESENTATION ID PRACTICED FOR A WEEK AND FROM THEN ON THIS HORRID PERSON UNDERMINED MY CONFIDENCE SO MUCH I STARTED BELIEVEING I WAS STUPID, WHEN IN FACT IM FAR FROM IT AS IM CONTINUING MY DEGREE NOW AT ANOTHER UNI AND IM GETTING HIGH SIXTY AND SEVERNTY GRADES, (WHICH ARE 1ST AND 2:1 GRADES).

MY BRAIN DOESNT WORK LIEK YOURS DOES I CANT UNDERSTAND THINGS A S YOU DO BUT TEHN AGAIN YOU DONT UNDERSTAND THINGS HOW I DO WHICH IS A LOSS ON YOUR PART ALOS AS YOU MISS OUT ON SEEING IN YOUR MIND IN 3D AND 'SEEING' MUSIC ETC. WHICH WE CAN DO

AS I TRIED TO EXPLAIN- A SPELL CHECKER MAKES NO SENSE TO ME AND MY READ ALOUD PROGRAMME IS REALLY SLOW, AS IT SPELLS OUT EACH AND EVRY LETTER AND WORD. OTHER PEOPLE CAN READ MY POSTS WHICH YOU DISMISS AS 'MESS'. SO IF THEY CAN AMANGE PERHAPS TEH FAULT IS WITH YOU? PERHAPS YOU ARE UNABLE TO GIVE ANONE AN INCH WHICH WILL CAUSE YOU GREAT PROBLEMS IN LIFE. I KINDA FEEL SORRY FOR YOU. I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO DRIVE OR SPELL BUT I RECKON I HAVE MUCH MORE THAN YOU IN TERMS OF COMPASSION AND HUMAN UNDERSTANDING AND IN TEH LONG-TERM I KNOW WHICH SKILLS ID RATHER HAVE.

    I agree with you Freebie.

I think the world would be a much nicer place without opinions like wigs.
