I went into the Mcdonalds in bognor regis back in october and ordered a take away. When i got home (About 2 mins drive) the chips were cold and the burger was luke warm. I was in a fowl mood that day so got on their website and complained. Did not hear anything until the begining of december. But got an e-mail and then a few days later got a £5 voucher. Problem is i said from that day i would not go back to any mcdonalds and never have, So have still got the voucher and feel much healthier now. Boycot Mcdonalds and improve your health at the same time. Hhappy Days
  • well we have two macdonalds witin a 5min walk of each other, when i go through the drive through on one i never ask for a milkshake as there machine is always faulty. If i want a milkshake i gop to the other one, order one, they give it to me (drive through) only for me to see that it is like water lol i then send it back and get a coke. They know i do it but it drives me mad two outlets with no faciltys!!!

I now go to a jacket potato shop/get a salad bucket from a supermarket. cheaper and healthier :)
  • i don't know what possesses anyone to eat at McDonalds! The most disgusting food ever !!!

I've complained via the McD's website before and i've never heard anything from it. Problem is, that branch is our closest, the next one is about 20 minutes away. I can't say that i will never go there again but i will try my damndest not to. And i'm on a health kick at the moment so i won't be touching Mcdonalds for a while anyway.

Hear hear. Large corporation who don't give a toss about the environment, employ kids for crappy wages, and have some very nasty mafia types to jump on anyone who dares to challenge their ethics. The "food" is awful and why parents take their kids to these places is beyond me.

Another thing, why is it that they, burger king and others have totally different i.e. a lot more expensive prices on motorways. Same products aren't they?

I complained once and got two £5 vouchers to spend instore but complained again as my local McDonalds is rubbish but inseatd of hearing anything i got put onto the McDonalds mailing list and get sent stupid emails and never got a responce from my complaint. My local McDonalds has been rubbish since the day it opened and the only reason I ever go is that it is a 2 minute walk from my house

They can charge whatever they want in the service stations as if you don';t want to buy it then you don't have to and they know there are no fast food places with normal prices on the motorway and same goes for the sweet shops on the services

Last time I went to one I saw the person preparing the food and they were picking up the salad ingredients with their bare hands and putting it on the bagels. YUK!!! I don't go anymore.

every ten minutes the staff have to wash their hands with anti-microbiaacal soap. i used to be a FM and i made them do it. thyre hands will be cleaner than what yours are when you prepare food so dont worry :)

I know McDonalds are crap anyway but they annoyed me and i need to moan.

Couldn't be bothered to cook so went Mcdonalds. Used 2 vouchers from their new promo, anyway, first of all got overcharged, complained to the manager then got the amount they had overcharged back. Got half way home then realised that hadn't given me a happy meal (i had a family of 7 to buy for, so i had a lot of food) so i drove back and didn't get an apology from the staff or manager.

Then i know i should've re checked the bags etc but didn't have time, got home and they had given a chocolate milkshake instead of a strawberry one.

I have made several complaints about this branch (near Collier Row, Essex) over the past few years and nothing ever happens. I haven't even had any responses to my complaints.

McDonalds are crap with their customer service.

Ok, Rant over. Thank you i feel much better. :)

not all maccies! like i said i used to be an FM (btw were not all thick i have 3 a-levels and am in teh 2nd year of a degree!) and we were responsible for customer services and i took thsi very seriously and if i ever had a complain i always made sure it was properly resolved and teh customer left with a smile ontheir face, that is except with abusive customers and in taht case my duty of care was to my CM's so those people i would ask to leave.
