But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Today i will:

- check online banking - done
- move some money into savings - done
- storecupboard tea - done

Good morning everyone,
Today I have/will:
*check online banking-tv license has gone up by 6p!
*update spreadsheet
*check quidco
*Go buy webcam with mic
*going to a friends this afternoon, free cakes
*store cupboard meals
*check online phone bill-spent £3 less then budgeted for
*put things in bag and take to charity shop
*take yet more proof to housing benefit-this should get me the back dated payment- office closed till monday
*go into jobcentre and confirm benefit interview date -office closed till monday
I feel I need to justify buying the webcam with mic-at the moment I spend £10 per week on my mobile + £10 free weekend credit :eek:
I am hoping to use msn/skype to make calls for free. Am taking the £30 for webcam out of this months £50 mobile credit budget.
Only £20 credit for 1 month- can I stick to it?????

I got a free parking space at work today!! (And by avoiding public transport, I was in work within 9 mins of leaving home as opposed to taking about an hour on a 'normal' working day with public transport);
Will comp later;
Will cancel my BT vision entertainment pack (which was free for the first 6 months only);
Will save lunch for when I go home (at about 2 rather than buy something)Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0
