Thank the assorted gods that my dad is visiting this weekend - he fixed my washing machine and refused to let me give him the money he spent on the new door for it. He's going to fix the dodgy cupboard door in the kitchen as well :j
Must go as him and mum will be round in twenty minutes to take me and t'other half out for tea, and I need to throw t'other half in the shower :rotfl: The glorious WORKING shower:D:D

Hey!
Dinner was awesome! We went to a local Chinese restaurant which does AMAZING food and stuffed ourselves silly. I had two fortune cookies which said that my finances were going to get better soon which was nice to hear
Today I have done four loads of washing (Soon to be five!) and gone for a drive and a picnic in the borders with t'other half and my folks. A lovely day was had by all.
How is everyone today?

Totally just gonna do stuff and see if he notices. It may take a while... he is quite unobservent. Although credit where credit is due he did notice when I had my hair done last, even though I didn't tell him I was going and it was just a trim. It was quite impressive really!0 -

Hi FF,
You seem to be going great guns and are a great encouragement to me to do better... thanks.
How did it go at the airport today? Very early start... Hope you made it on time.
Keep up the good work, you're doing great AND managing to fly on top too (in the flylady sense rather than the friesian or airplane sense... :rotfl: ) well done.LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Morning all!
I made it to the airport ok yesterday morning (Can't believe I was up before 5am though, no wonder I'm bl**dy knackered today!) and got the flight with four of my work colleagues. Even though I told the boy I was sitting beside that I had a fear of flying, I think he was quite taken aback when he looked over as we were taking off and there were tears rolling down my cheeksI really hate flying...
I spent over £40 yesterday in taxis, trains and coffee (!) as we didn't get the flight back to [strike]civilisation[/strike] Scotland until half past eight at night. I did consume a wee amount of alcohol before take-off this time though and it worked wonders for me nervesPrior to yesterday morning, I don't think I had ever flown while sober, and have no plans to do so again. There is talk of a conference in Belfast next year, and I'm getting the ferry!
I haven't done any flying this morning (Of the housework kind - this is quite confusing!) as I am trying to catch up on all my assorted threads on here, but will try and get some done tonight so I don't get behind. I don't think I will get the bedcovers changed today, but I would like to do more scrubbing in the kitchen - I'll see how I feel after work tbh.
Better dash anyway - have a lovely day everyone!
PS - Terri, thanks for your nice words and your PM, you will be pleased to hear that both myself and my lipgloss arrived unscathed
