Hello People Of The Internet
I'm on my holidays but thankfully have the internet so I can keep up with my online nonsense when other half is otherwise occupied (He's on the Playstation at the moment!)
PADs have been made for the day and I've been up to my parents tonight where me and t'other half got a lovely dinner made for us and I got to show my mum how to work her new iPod (My old Nano) She's very excited!
Anyway, going to make a nice cuppa tea before Lost starts, will be back on tomorrow morning I think.
Hope all is well with you all.

Hi fresian
...
Ooooooooooooh it's sooooooooooo nice to be back on here rather than Facebook !
Hope that you are enjoying your jollies..... I envy you , being able to have a " lie in " in the morning ! ...
Lucky you , having your dinner cooked for you .... It's always so much nicer when someone else cooks it !....
Take care ...

Facebook profile now deleted - aha!
Also, I have now moved £20.30 into my ING savings account (Which has credited me with my £20 opening bonus, woo!) as my ISA is making no interest at all. I have also moved another £30 to my Barclaycard - should I include this in PAD? I had saved up this month through PAD and have now paid it off my card, so would I be counting this twice? It's so confusing!!

Ha! I had that dilemna. I decided not to count my change collecting and to only count the chunk payment to the debt. I doesn't really matter but we do have to think about these things don't we?
Enjoy your hol xxOne step at a time0 -
Budget = £250
Spent:
M&S (Food for journey and pizza for first night) £11.86
Petrol £26
Tesco (Essentials for first couple of days) £11.73
Petrol & muesli £31.55
Cakes! (Scones for me, brioche for him!) £2.68
Fags for t'other half £5.78  No wonder I quit...
Total spent = £89.60...
...so I should have £160.40 approximately left and I have:
£159 left in my purse. :j :j
Whoop Whoop, my budget balances!! All money spent on houseish food (i.e. not the cake money) is getting transferred out of my groceries account and being put towards my credit card & savings, so I don't think I have money to blow on food, as I would have bought groceries this week anyway.
This post is very dull, but as I am lacking in spreadsheets I wanted to make sure that I was keeping on top of my spending :rotfl:
Hope everyone is ok.

have a lovely break fresian! i'm busy thinking up ways to keep the boys happy this week - today was painting a bird feeder, painting pictures and a trip to mcdonalds (very rare treat!). my nearly 8 year old wanted a "proper" meal rather than a happy meal which was a small blow to the budget, but i'll know for next time!Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

Evening all!
Hope you are all well! It doesn't feel that much as though I'm on holiday as I am having a lovely time keeping up with MSE :rotfl:
Today the weather has been horrible for the most part, but we still decided to go out and about and go for a nice drive up to the north of the island (We're on Skye this week) and see an old friend of t'other half, which was lovely. By the time we got up to the north of the island the sun was out anyway, and we got to enjoy views like this on the way back to our "holiday home" http://www.theoldbyre.net/BlackCuillins.jpg
Can someone please teach me how to do links with text?! So it would say hills and you could click on it for example?
Anyway...we stopped in for tea and cake at my parents house on the way back and have been invited up for dinner tomorrow night - there is talk of my dad making venison for us, which will be yummy! Apart from that, relaxation is the name of the game and I'm loving it.
Hope you all are well.

Copy your link
Type in the word 'hills' and highlight it
Click on the icon of the world with a paperclip type pic on it (at top of box where you're typing your post)
Paste your link in the box
Click ok
And Bob (or whoever else you fancy) is your uncle!
Hills
Hope that works.
Sounds like you're having a lovely chilled out time xxOne step at a time0
