Thats the problem with having long hair isn't it, if it grows out a tiny bit you run the risk of looking like you couldn't be arsed to go to the hairdresser! I know mine does... it's usually true tho lol! But shorter hair is not very mse as you have to go to the hairdresser more often :money: I used to have a 'Pob' before vicky becks did and it was a B*** to keep looking good!
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

Grrr....just spoke to Scottish Power on the phone and they took my payment details - I had to pay by card instead of DD.

i'm impressed that you actually spoke to a real live person (even if she was a cow about the charge!). i tried to ring them twice this week, after entering all my account details and waiting ages (about 15min each time!) they changed the hold music to "sorry we are too busy to take your call now" and cut me off!!!!

so i have sent them a shirty email, i chose "complaint" from their handy drop down list so we'll see how long it takes them to get back to me. i just want to check my revised payment amount (they have increased it nearly 30 quid in 3 months:eek:) and we are *not* using more than usual - i take meter readings on the 1st of every month so i know this for a fact.

    good luck with virgin. xx

    Good morning lovely people!

Well, I had my 7th NSD in a row yesterday :j It can be done!!

I think it helps with me that I'm not one of the "If you open your purse it's a spend" people. I would find that too discouraging :D For example, I went to the pictures last night with my friend using our Cineworld passes. We went for the 8.40pm showing but it was full so we bought tickets for the 9.30 showing and went for a couple of cocktails (MSE cocktails - 2 for £5.75 or £4 each) Made far more sense to have two each :D Now, this could have ruined a NSD for some, but I have a set amount for entertainment/going out that I put aside into an account each month, so I bought cocktails but when I came home I transferred the money out of the account and into my daily account right away. I wasn't really sober enough for maths though
party0036.gif Tell you what though, I love French Martinis :D

    So, plans for today:

    • Wake up t'other half
    • Go to bank and complain about his bank charge. Get it refunded hopefully as it's his first offence.
    • Check if t'other halfs student loan has gone into his bank account. Tap him for some of the money he owes me if it has :D
    • Pick up new hoover from the DHL depot and struggle back with it on the bus
    • Go to visit my friend on the train and have some food and play some pool
    • GET MY HAIR CUTothers-176.gif
    • Come back and get Asda stuff delivered. Make yummy dinner.
    • Maybe go to another movie:D
Aah, tis an action-packed day in Fresian Towers!

    Tomorrow I'm working at 6am
you-fool-038.gif so I really should have an early night tonight. I am getting megabucks for it though - being paid for 3 hours @ double time (Should only be in for two if all goes to plan) and a £50 payment for the inconvenience. This works out at about £110 before tax for two hours work. This is worth dragging my sorry *ss out of bed for at that time of day as I can put some of it towards the fund for t'other halfs birthday which has stalled lately happy-dollar-signs-094.gif

Right, I'm going to finish my coffee then go for a shower and begin waking up t'other half. Have an amazing day everyone!

    • [strike]Wake up t'other half[/strike]
    • Go to bank and complain about his bank charge. Get it refunded hopefully as it's his first offence. Nope, it was decided that it was cold outside and that cuddling was better than arguing with bank folk. I'm sending him on Monday.
    • [strike]Check if t'other halfs student loan has gone into his bank account. [/strike]Tap him for some of the money he owes me if it has :DNo money for me! He checked it himself but forgot to get me money :rotfl:
    • Pick up new hoover from the DHL depot and struggle back with it on the bus  Again, it was cold outside. They can redeliver!
    • [strike]Go to visit my friend on the train and have some food and play some pool [/strike] Ate yummy food cooked by her boyfriend, didn't play pool. Had a lovely time!

Half the stuff on my list done - not bad for a Saturday! Another MSE day for me - train to Fife, haircut and a cup of tea and some Maltester cake for about £24. I set myself a budget of £30 last week on the Weekly Spend Challenge, and spent none of it (!) so today was my reward. And after adding to my Sealed Pot with the coins under £1 I have five shiny pounds to add to my PAD for tomorrow. Yay!!

Must go and finish watching Match of the Day then it's bed for me - I'm up at quarter past five for my overtime tomorrow

    Hi all!

I went to work for 6am today. That wasn't fun - I did my two hours though and will be much richer once payday comes on the 23rd!

It's another NSD today as I came home from work, drank some tea and then went back to bed, I didn't get up until 3pm :D I'm still sitting in my jammies waiting for t'other half to do the dishes! Once he's done this I will use the leftover hot water for my shower and then make us some shepherd's pie for dinner, om nom nom!

My haircut is lovely, thanks for asking! I still have below-shoulder length hair, but there are more layers in it which just makes it sit a lot nicer. It's less Hippie-Dragged-Through-A-Hedge than it was yesterday morning anyway:rotfl:

Nothing else to report really, made a decent PAD of £5 today, plan to making similar tomorrow and am enjoying my Weekly Spend Challenge as anything I don't spend is either being used to treat myself (Something that I love to do!) or to go towards debts in PAD. I hope to have at least £15 left of my £20 budget at the end of the week, but will let you know.

    How is everyone's Sunday going?

    Hi all!

    How is everyone's Sunday going?
Very quiet down here - I've done a bit of college work, read my book, tidied up a little. Now got the girls back so have fed them and chased 1 up to the shower!
Wonder if I'll do a full week of work this week?! The snow's going now (thank god), but my road still icy. I want it to go!!!
I really need to sort out a new signature!

    Evening!

Well I have finished the 24 episodes that I have...have to wait until tomorrow for the next installment. Normally like you, we buy the box set but we can't wait!! We'll get the box set too but being naughty and downloading through itunes and watching them...I love it :j

Hair sounds nice :D I always love getting my hair cut. Quite a low maintenance girl in every sense but do love having my hair cut - just keeps it healthier.

Just about to sit down with some yummy pasta and a bit of dancing on ice....hope you enjoyed the shepherd's pie, xx
