Woo Friday!!!
This has felt like a really long week at times, and I'm looking forward to the weekend as I may actually be doing things with my time off
Today my plans are pretty much as they always are:
- Take flasks to work for coffee
- Bring lunch with me (Last night's pasta, yummy!)
- [strike]Do Asda shop online[/strike] I did it last night but it got lost between the mysupermarket website and Asda  so have done it again, and used a £5 off voucher to get free delivery. Yay!
- Go to the bank and pay in my cheque from musicmagpie
- Phone Scottish Power and Virgin and figure out what's going on with my direct debits
- [strike]Check online banking[/strike]
- [strike]Make PAD[/strike] Only £1.20 today, but every little helps!
- Aim for NSD #6 for February, and my 7th in a row!
Tomorrow I go through to visit another friend and also to get my haircut, I can't wait. The last time I had a haircut was before the interview for my current job, so that would have been October 2007
Anyway, have a lovely day all, see you all tonight.

Hiya:j
I'm not counting grocery spends as a proper spend either as I include that in my grocery budget! I'm the same as you - if I buy anything at all unnecessary then it's a spend day, magazine, chocolate etc;) So I think all I've spent this week is £5 on some foundation from ebay:p
All this darn snow makes for easy NSDs....I'm housebound again:rolleyes::DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Good morning
I love having my hair cut, it's one of my treats in life. Luckily OH treats me most of the time and usually get it done every 8 weeks. Naughty I know but I do love it. Hope you enjoy! Are you getting it re-styled?
Hope you manage to sort those DD's out - it's such a pain isn't it.
Really must get on and do some work this morning. Have a good day xxNo spend days for March = 3Money to joint savings 2009 = £100.00Money to personal savings 2009 = £0.000 -

Not cheating, but like you said, we all count our NSDs in different ways! I could count anything as groceries... I'm imaginative like that!
Loving audible. Will keep it for a month as there's a couple of other books I like, and it means that I get a decent amount from quidco!Natwest CC - [STRIKE]£2545[/STRIKE] now £0 :j
Overdraft - £2668 - to be cleared by February 2010
Wedding - 11 September 20100 -
Are you getting it re-styled?
I'm on hold at the moment to Scottish Power to try and find out why they don't want my money - it's fine with me!
I've also paid my cheque in and am on course for another NSD. Yay :j0 -
Grrr....just spoke to Scottish Power on the phone and they took my payment details - I had to pay by card instead of DD.
Fine.
I paid with my credit card (Ipoints credit card, so it's worth paying that way for some things) and she waited until I gave the payment to tell me that there was a charge for paying by credit card. I told her I would rather pay by debit card if there was no fee for that but she didn't offer to refund the payment and now I will have been charged £1.28 for paying by credit card
I'm going to wait until it goes through on to my card, and if the charge is showing I'm going to write a massive letter of complaint. It's my £1.28 dagnammit
I really hope the same thing doesn't happen with Virgin Media...0 -
Grr thats not good, cheeky sods! Why the hell can't they make that clear in the first place if there will be an additional charge?
You must have really long hair! Mine is long but kinda styled, it's similar to Cheryl Coles hair (wish I had her cash and figure too lol) growing out now as I can't afford hairdresser till March even with 20% loyalty! Thinking of getting it chopped into a bob soon but not sure yet, I like the versatility of long hair. Why don't you go for something new being as it's half price, you might as well treat yourself!
Well done on another NSD, you going for 100%? I was 5/5 but we got the call that ofsted will be in next week so I treated my self to a bottle of red wine and bar of galaxy to help me with my lesson planning marathon on Sunday!
Lol @hopeful the biscuits did look like boobs didn't they, haha might make some with pink icing for b/f on valentines! :rotfl:
xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
Talking of hair...I desperately need something done to mine too.....I last went to the hairdresser in Dec07 I think (I can't even remember exactly, how useless is that?!) and any vague style I did have has well and truly gone and its just long with a fringe (I do that myself!!)
I'm thinking of a long bob again with some layers just to liven it up a bit....but can't decide and whenever I get to the hairdresser I just say 'Take a couple of inches off' and it ends up not much different...I'd like to be daring!!!
Much as I like it long, I don't think it's very stylish;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0
