Quick post before I start work - you know how I said it was going to be cold?
I never blow dry my hair in the morning, I usually let it dry naturally. This morning it started to freeze while I was waiting for the bus :rotfl:0 -

As my great-grandma used to say: 'If you do that you'll get reumatics in your head!'
I'm not sure what reumatics are, or how you get them in your head, but I felt it my duty to pass on that piece of wisdom0 -
My Dad always said we'd catch Chincuff if we went out with wet hair - and 40 years later I still haven't got it, but wouldn't recognise it if I did0
-
Chincuff? Gosh, that sounds nasty... possibly even worse than reumatics!
Be warned Fresian! Chincuff and reumatics lurks around the corner for you! :rotfl:0 -

So, my plans for today:
- [strike]Hang up washing [/strike]
- [strike]Check online banking[/strike] My direct debit still hasn't come out, I'm going to pop into the bank later and ask about this...
- [strike]Make PAD[/strike] Just £1 for me as I have had to lend t'other half £40 for his bouncy direct debit and I don't want to be short for the month - I now have £80 to last me until the 23rd. Eek  This isn't too bad though as I have money in the groceries budget to feed us, I have money in the Entertainment budget that I will break into if times get hard. I just want to stick to my budgets!
- [strike]Make my own lunch[/strike]
- [strike]Take flasks of hot water to work[/strike]
- [strike]Get t'other half to make dinner
[/strike]
As you will see from above, I had done all of the things on my list again, yay! I have also done some washing and got some bargains from the shops - without compromising my NSD.
Conditioner - two bottles for £1.20 in Boots clearance section, as they were Herbal Essences they qualified for the 100 points too. So really only cost 20pI have now bought three sets of these this week, and I won't have to buy conditioner for months now :j This was all bought with a Boots gift card, so no money spent.
Books - Bought two half price books for me in the WH Smith sale, and a paperback for t'other half which was reduced to £1 because of a tear in the cover. Bought with book tokens, so again no money spent.
I was meant to be going to the pub tonight, but my friend didn't want to leave the pub and have to walk from her bus stop to her house when it was cold and icy in case she fell :rotfl:We're going to go after payday instead.
I also didn't go to the cinema as t'other half didn't want to go. I am going to frogmarch him there soon as I really want to see Frost/Nixon :rotfl: I also found out that because I have a Cineworld Unlimited card I can get a half-price meal in Zizzi so if we go to the pictures soon we might have to go out for dinner too!
Not a lot else to report really, my direct debit still hasn't come out of my account, which is now starting to worry me as I don't want a late payment noted anywhere. Halifax were no help (I think it's because the person I asked in the branch was a bit of a diddy, I will call their helpline tomorrow!) and I haven't checked with A&L yet, I will do that on my lunchbreak tomorrow.
Has everyone else had a lovely day?

Hey FF
I've got an unlimited card as well, best £12 spent each month!!Out of curiousity where is Zizzi? I only ask as I have never heard of it.
I've had a very lovely day, really cold when out in the garden with the kids at work though. Had a lovely letter from my IP stating they no longer have any interest in my car! I also cancelled my direct debit to them :j
