As it's part of the Edinburgh Festival (Not the Fringe) it will be fair to say it's posher than my average fare, but it's all about the cultcha daaaahling :rotfl:

Right, off to town now to look for Boots bargains! Kissjen - I will ping you a text if I find you any bargains :rotfl:
Also going to try and find the Half Price Hut for Fringe tickets to try and find myself and Mr Fresian a bargain for this afternoon!
I love being on holibags :j

We had a nice day today. I went into town in the morning to grab some bargains from Boots (No S&G Kissjen, sorry!) and got some FCUK sets and some Sanctuary sets, all for about £1 each and all in the Christmas drawer now :rudolf:
Myself and Mr Fresian went back into town later on. We went to Armstrongs (Excellent vintage/2nd hand shop) to look for a top hat/fedora for Mr F to wear to the wedding we're going to but the only one we both liked was £35  I only have three weeks to find him something, anyone got any ideas? I have also fallen in love with a handbag (£24, so not too bad) and I am hanging on until payday to get it, go me!
We wandered down the Royal Mile - dear God, the sheer number of tourists on a weekday afternoon is mind-boggling - to see what we fancied going to see, but nothing really inspired us. Mr Fresian had wanted to see Simon Munnery, but by the time we found the half-price hut (It's beside the National Gallery) there were half-price tickets available but only two minutes until the show started. Boo. I am going to wander into town tomorrow morning and try and pick some tickets up for tomorrow.
Instead we ended up going to the Voodoo Rooms to see some free comedy (Although two cokes were £3.80!) which was ok for the moneyThe compere was rubbish but three out of the four main acts were good, so it was a worthwhile detour. The same venue does a burlesque show that I quite fancy seeing, so maybe tomorrow!
We came back and I made dinner (pasta noms) and have done most of the dishes. Not all of them, but mostThe rest of the night has been spent farting aboot on the interpipes and watching telly. I say it again, People Of The Internet, woo for holibags!

Sounds like you are really getting your moneys worth with the festival and with your time off! That thing looks very posh! Should be interesting though.
I'm on here trying to steal some of your famous motivation as I really ought to get some of my work done, I have two assignments to finish and then some school stuff to do but I'm surrounded by distractions and it would be so much easier to play on the sims all day...
Sorry to hear about the work stuff, at least you know for definite what your situation is now.
Enjoy the rest of your days off!

I have rediscovered my interest in comping of late.
I posted before that I won an Alan Moore signed magazine (Still awaiting delivery, but that's ok!) and also some tickets to Festival shows. Woo for that.
Today I opened the door to the postie and had to sign for a Special Delivery. I just thought it was my Alan Moore thing, but no! It was £100 in M&S vouchers from a competition I entered through the comps board and also a mug which I won from a Strongbow competition :j

Wow! Where did you find your 4 leaf clover?! I should enter a few comps....I might actually win something then!
On average I enter about 20-30 a day when I'm working (I do comps in the morning before work) and up to 100 a day at the weekend. I only enter comps for things that I will use (vouchers, holidays, laptop etc) or would be able to use for presents at Christmas (DVDs, t-shirts etc) It takes a lot of effort but it has been worth it of late!
