I wish I was closer so I could pop up and see it- I'll just have to make do with the podcasts. Glad it was fun and well done on such bargain tickets!
Did you see him on You Have Been Watching a few weeks ago?
Are you at the Fringe again tonight?2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
I wish I was one of these early birds like you f_f. I have to literally drag myself out of bed in the mornings with my eyes half shut. I HATE MY ALARM CLOCK and love my bed!
Enjoy all your fringe shows.0 -
Hi f_f. Just wanted to say thank you for the link you posted up the other night. That led me to Mbaz's thread - so i sat up last night doing a poshly typed meal planner for 2 1/2 weeks (that's when i next have a little cash coming in). From that i've done my shopping list. I've spent £35 today and anticipate i will need to spend no more than £20 for the bits i missed off, including washing powder etc, which is bloomin' good going for me!
Hope the weather is good up there and that you enjoy the fringeOne step at a time0 -

Going to a show at lunchtime with my best mate and then myself and Mr Fresian were thinking about wandering round the town and seeing what we can blag free tickets for - it's the first weekend so there's always people dying to get bums on seats for word of mouth fun!

Yesterday was quite a good MSE day. I did four and three quarters hours of overtime which will be nearly £50 before the tax and pensions folk get their cut. There should be more overtime on the go next week too, although I'm on holibobs for a few days so won't be able to do as much. Overtime is very hard to come by at my work at the moment though so I'm taking it where I can!
I made bolognaise last night, which was very yummy. I managed to pad it out with oats and lentils for the first time and Mr Fresian didn't notice, so that will be part of the recipe from now on!
Nothing else to report really, avoiding getting dressed at the moment, so off to play silly computer games
Payday feels like it's 1000 years away...

I've done the same! I cooked mince last night and can't believe how much there is after adding extra loads of veg, oats and lentils. I'll be able to get 3 meals out of it for me and little one. Quite sadly i am quite excited about all this :eek:I've just been out to buy freezer bags and have divided up chops, bread and crumpets - LO loves these with honey.
Anyway, i'm now off to pretend to be 'normal' and socialise with familyOne step at a time0 -

Morning all!
Only got to do a half day today then on holibags for the rest of the week :j It's going to be a week filled with Fringe Funtimes as well
Last night we went to see Stephen K Amos which was very good. The end of the show wasn't amazing, but four out of five overall. 2for1 tickets made it all the better
Tonight myself and Mr Fresian are off to see Mark Thomas followed by Dylan Moran. Luckily the shows are quite near each other as it was an accidental booking of two shows in one night by myself
Myself and Mr F are going to be doing the cheapest Fringe we can for the rest of the week, using 2for1 where we can and visiting the Half Price hut to see what's nice and cheap! The free Fringe is also going to feature heavily in our plans. I have about another £20 I can put towards shows, which doesn't go far in Edinburgh at this time of year!
Reviews to follow methinks!

I'm sooo jealous!
I've seen Stephen K Amos on Comedy Central on Sky and he is so funny!
Dylan Moran is a genius in Black Books - very similar to his comedy routines!
Lucky you!0
