Ooh heck you're putting me to shame :rotfl:

Myself and Mr F went to the show at the Edinburgh International Festival that I won tickets to. We wandered out at the interval and didn't go back :o I just don't think we're high-faluting cultured people :D Utter twaddle, I'm just glad we didn't pay for the tickets!

I've made a start on comping and entered 10 competitions tonight. Darn, it's time consuming! :D

I saw the advertising signs at the Playhouse last night and wondered what you'd think of it. Not a lot by the sound of it! Sorry you had a pants evening.

    What was it actually about?

Look at downloading Roboform if you're going to do a lot of comping, it really helps!

I wish I could tell you.....

When I heard the man behind us talking about the "narrative art" I decided to leave. Mr Fresian described it as like watching someone's schizophrenia onstage. Given that doctors have tried to tell him in the past that he has that particular illness I defer to his wisdom.

Disjointed b*llocks as far as I could tell. Should have gone to the pictures :rotfl:

PS - didn't have a bad night, we enjoyed ourselves and were able to laugh about being commoners!

The Director of the International Festival was just on saying one had to see Diaspora as few people have ever had the experience of a full Chinese orchestra - that's you telt...

I was also listening to a director talking about Antigone..."Darlings," he said. "Your paycheck is assured. Don't act. BEEEEEEE Antigone. BEEEEEE Creon." Jeezus ... beeeeee out of your own bottom.

I wanted to hear the full Chinese orchestra. There was just too much w*nkery and not enough music.

Right, plans for the week. I get paid on Friday (Thank all of the gods) so here's how things lie:

    Money

    "Spends" account = £23.20
    "PAD" account = £7.00
"Entertainment" account = £20.40. This shall be rolled over, lottery-style, if I don't spend it as the end of the Festival is nigh and I have a wedding to go to.
"Groceries" account = £66.80. Very pleased with this as it included a Costco trip. Meal plan below for the rest of the week.
    Purse = £19.00

My aim now is to make it to Friday and put at least £50 into my savings account. I hope to put more away, but prefer to set realistic targets :rotfl:

Other things to drain my funds

The plans progress apace for my friends wedding. I am bridesmaiding and Mr Fresian is being an usher. I only need to buy fishnet tights at present (Woo for winning those M&S vouchers) to complete my outfit. I bought Mr Fresian a purple shirt and black tie yesterday from H&M at a total cost of £19.99 :j I also need to find him some black trousers (Woo for those M&S vouchers again!) and that should be him sorted. He's going to try and borrow a top hat from a friend of ours. The wedding is gothic-themed and we all have to be in black and purple.

    Meal Planning

Today - Sweet and sour chicken
    Monday - Chili with rice
    Tuesday - Bolognaise
Wednesday - Out with a friend, Mr Fresian undoubtedly feeds himself cereal
    Thursday - Fajitas
    Friday - Sausage and mash
Saturday - Mincy cheesy pasta adventures

I also need to see if my best friend would be up for a Costco trip sometime after I get paid so that I can stuff the freezer with meat again!
