Ooh heck am I so gobby that when I don't post for a few days people worry? :rotfl: All true :D

    Right, where to start?!

Work has been poop this week as I have been filling in the most god-awful form trying to justify my existence [strike] on the planet [/strike] in the company. It looks pretty good now and I will be pinching some of the gubbins I wrote for my CV :D At the start of the week I had "Gies a job" as my personal statement and under the Key Skills I just had "Pish" so it's come on in leaps and bounds since then. I have only applied for one job out of the range of jobs going, so I have put all of my eggs firmly in one basket, but I don't want to apply for a sh*t job for the sake of it. If I get severance I can live for 8 months comfortably, a year at a push and I will find a job before then. Even if I work 50 hours a week doing cleaning/hotel work. I have done it before and I will do it again. You meet less w*nkers when you work as chambermaid staff :D

So, that's work. Urgh to that, and yay for Friday!!

Payday today and I did my internet banking before I drank my coffee. So, here's how I messed up.

    1. Sent £800+ to my bills account with A&L
    2. Realised that I had sent it to my savings account with A&L which I haven't used in months
    3. Cursed
    4. Sent £500 back to my Halifax account as I can't transfer from my A&L savings to my A&L bank account
    5. Cursed as I realised that the Faster Payments thing doesn't work for more than £250 from A&L accounts so I am £500 short until god knows when. Aargh.

Current financial situation looks like this:

Savings: Who would have thought, dear Reader, that I would have had savings when we started Flying Gleefully Into 2009, but I do!! £940 (!) in Halifax no-access until November account. This is nearly one month's wages, so this pleases me. £132.46 with ING which is my emergency/Christmas/oh sh*t the washing machine exploded money. I want my no-access to be at £1,000 by the time payday comes around again.

PAD Account: £20.20 at the moment, more to follow

Spends Account: £200 exactly. All day-to-day spending. Mr Fresians clothes for this sodding wedding and unexpected sh*te.

Entertainment: £50. Pub on Monday, Faith No More on Tuesday :D
party0030.gif:D party0030.gif:D Simon Amstell on Wednesday and dinner on Thursday and that's only the first week after payday :o

Groceries: £250 but I don't expect to use all of this by the end of September. There is sh*tloads of food in the freezer and I don't need to top up a lot.

Dinner is almost ready so I must run, but first note my pride: went to M&S after work last night and bought a double pack of chicken thighs reduced to £3. I have never cooked thigh before so tonight I quickly browned them (1 pack, other in freezer) and added mushrooms, peppers, chicken stock, tomatoes and pepper. It smells amazing as it's been in the over for an hour now. Twenty minutes more....and om nom nom!!

Quick favour before I go: Terri can you post the links to the websites you use for smilies again? Mr Fresian has installed a new Operating System and I lost all of my bookmarks. Thanks!!

    PLANS!!!

Ebay is doing free listing for the rest of the week so spending this morning photographing items for sale and downloading Turbolister again.

Make shopping list as best friend has offered to take me to the supermarket.

Persuade best friend that she wants to go to Costco sometime as I have a booklet full of vouchers to use!

3 previously unsold items listed on Ebay to take advantage of the lack of listing fees this week.

    Photographed many more.

    Turbolisting now....

Right, that's the easy ones done (Mainly makeup!)

I still have the following to list:

    * Matthew Williamson handbag. Can't list this in good conscience until I sticky-roller the cat hair out of it. One of the little b*ggers slept in it. Grrr...
    * 2 x limited edition box set singles (Elvis)
    * 1 x limited edition NIN vinyl with numbered box (Very rare as only issued to fan club members IIRC)

I'm also thinking of selling my 20p piece (The undated one) as these seem to be going for about £70 at the moment. Thoughts??

Be careful how you list it as some go for £80+ and others less than £1. Most bizarre!

    Hello
Sorry to hear of your work situation. Good luck with the job you want though, fingers crossed for that.
Well done on your finances too, it's nice to see you are still doing so well, I find it easy to get demotivated very quickly.
Def put a reserve on your 20p, but if I had one, I'd stick it on Ebay.
    P

PS Went to Alid yesterday for the first time - know what you meant now about it being different! I have never ever seen any assistant throw the shopping through so quickly! Like the shop though.
