Happy Meal Planning!!
Sounds like a grand plan, I try and try but always end up sideswiped by a invitation out to eat at a chums, or end up running out of time to eat, so I need to plan meals that can be waylaid to another day.

Doom, gloom and it's chucking doon!!
Menu planning is working for us...not as disciplined this month but will get to it with a vengence soon.

Evening all!
A lovely time was spent in Glasvegas *waves at pointypenguin* on Saturday. I did some shopping - nice new t-shirt from Primark and a couple of scarves. I also got some trousers in the Next sale which will be lovely for work and were only £12 :j
Meal planning went a little wonky today as the chicken didn't defrost in time to roast it. It's in the fridge now and I will cook it in the slow cooker tomorrow instead. We had chilli for tea instead. I am still going to have enough food to last until I'm paid as well :j
Nothing else to report really, just wanted to let you know I was still alive!

To Do:
- Return badly fitting clothes to River Island - just because they're on sale don't mean I have to keep them
- Go to bank and hand in application for new savings account
- Tidy living room
- Sort washing out
- Eat slow-cooked chicken (Threw some onions and some water in the slow cooker, rubbed chicken with garlic and herbs. Cooking on medium while I'm at work) Slow cooker experts - can I just leave it on all day or do I need to get Mr Fresian to do anything while I'm out??

Yay,well done returning your clothes girl. :T
I have cooked a whole chicken this way in slow cooker, but just on low if it's on all day. Enjoy.0 - Return badly fitting clothes to River Island - just because they're on sale don't mean I have to keep them

Meal planning is great, I always do it! Nice to see your slow cooker is getting some use, I'm finding that mine hasn't been used in a while as whilst it's been hot I've been sticking to salads and things. Going to do a sausage casserole tomorrow thought with some sausages that were going cheap, and I'm going to try and use the summer holidays to practice some recipes ready for those cold winter nights - it'll really come into it's own then I'm sure!
You seem a little more upbeat, glad things are a little better at work.
I like the restraint that you are showing shopping wise, if it's anything like round here at the minute (and in Newcastle on Saturday) there are sales EVERYWHERE... not fair!
xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -

Chicken was yummy! Got £30 back from returning those clothes, not from the credit card either, so that will be tomorrow's PADYou seem a little more upbeat, glad things are a little better at work.

I'm not being restrained either - I'm just returning the clothes when I get buyers remorse :rotfl:
Proper update to follow once I have made a nice cuppa tea....0 -
Evening all!
A good Monday in Fresian Towers, and here's why:
- I lent someone a pair of tights ages ago and she bought me a pair of knee socks to say thanks. Massive long stripy socks. Woo!
- I have arranged to meet a former colleague for dinner on Thursday (Payday) before she goes off on maternity leave
- I am going on a MSE expidition! I'm meeting the lovely kissjen for food and a movie - we're off to see Hairy Snotter on Orange 2for1
Her hubby didn't want to go (With good reason given that he can't see!) and Mr Fresian would rather poke his eye out than sit and watch Harry Potter (Philistine!) so we're off out ourselves. We're going to have to have a secret MSE signal. Suggestions on a postcard to Fresian Towers please :rotfl:
