A) Nobody wants me (sob!) and I'm stuck at my job
Somebody wants me and I have to leave before I can take my Voluntary Redundancy
C) I take voluntary redundancy and don't get a job
.....right
A) you've got a long term plan to escape anyway, so if for now you stay put, so be it, just take what you can get from them to help with escape planas the main summer holidays approach recruitment will fall, co it could tie in nicely with the August reapplying, plus the whole recruitment process takes AGES
C) you will, but the question is how long it would take, so you'd need another plan of how to use anytime off constructively - decluttering (if you have anything left that is) volunteering etc
while being out of work sucks, I am SO pleased to be out - I've got friends at the old place & its changed so much I would hate to be there now, its changed so much in such a short space of time & we are no longer compatible!
Your get up & go will return, with bells on, this is just a temporary setback

It's Friday! This means it's time for the Wooty Dance
This week has been lousy, but I'm hoping that things will improve. I'm hoping to have time today at work to update my CV when nobody's looking- sneaky Moo that I am!
Ooh, speaking of Moos....if anyone uses Anchor Spreadable and doesn't want to use their codes to buy moo-themed stuff (clicky!) could you PM me a code? I really want the baking kit, but it's 30 tokens and you get 4 from 1kg of butter (!) so I would have to eat 7.5kg of Anchor to get my kit....and I have a fridge full of Utterly Butterly from the last BOGOF. So, take pity on a Fresian in need and PM me if you're not collecting codes. Thanks!
I will happily exchange for Warburtons codes for MOCs as I don't have a printer so can't use these.
Nothing else to report really, I have done nothing with Ebay and really should but don't have a lot of motivation. I plan to go to our local B&Q tomorrow to see what we could do (cheaply) to tart up the house and make it easier to sell. No purchases unless I see a BRILLIANT bargain though - taking Mr Fresian to stop me buying carp we don't need!
Right, time for work....

Morning all!
W00t for the weekend
I have been up since 6am due to loud birds outside the window and the heat in our room last night, which was mad. Still, I have managed to get a few things done -
* most of the dishes
* some washing
* entered loads of competitions (I'm back on the comping board with a vengeance!)
Not a lot of plans for today. Mr Fresian wants to go and see Bruno, and I have a free cinema pass so will go and see pretty much anything. I think I will need a little nap before long though, I'm fading fast!0 -
Hi there F_F,
At 6 in the morning ALL birds are loud - I think it's in their breeding - I even caught 2 pigeons tap dancing on the corregated iron kennel roof yesterday (is it bad to consider connecting said roof to plug socket, or is that very MSE as then have free pre-cooked meat???)
Plan a wee nap for tea-timeish - the the meal will be made for you...

I wouldn't have minded being up at six, I'm up then during the week anyway, but I had been woken at half past two by one of the cats fighting a jacket. He's not clever.0 -
Hehe cats are great aren't they. I'm off down the RSPCA later with my friend who is looking to adopt one, if it was down to me I'd take them all home!
xThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
Get her to pick an ugly kitty. The cute ones are easy to rehome. Ugly moggies need love too0

I was speaking to a lady yesterday how worked at horror bank until last week. She was in HR and left because she could take any more of the pressure from the merger - she is not a fan of down south colleagues. She said she's never been happier now she's gone. She's full time at CAB and working for half the money but relaxed atmostphere, 35 hours means 35 hours and she feels she's helping people so a very happy bunny.
Made me think maybe there is a world outside of finance - scarey thought though it is.

Good morning all!
Very little posting from me yesterday as I went back to bed after I was on in the morning and crawled out of bed again at 2pmMr Fresian was bored by that point so we walked up to the local Multiplex/entertainment venue thing (2 miles according to the internet, which has to be good for me!) and played a couple of games of pool then went to see Bruno at the pictures. We then picked up dinner at a local takeaway place (Best pizza ever om nom nom) and went to visit our friends who live across the road.
A brilliant Saturday! I am about £15 lighter for it, but it was worth it. I do need to do a quick evaluation though on how much money I have left until payday:
Spends account £30
PAD account £10
Entertainment account Zero
Groceries £65.13
Purse £13
I'm not doing too badly really, as payday is on the 23rd, but it's tighter than it has been for a while. I need to go and pick up a few essentials at the shops later and would like to get more meat for the freezer if possible. I got 8 sausages reduced to 12p the other day, which will be used for casserole at some point. I also made a massive batch of chilli in the slow cooker overnight last night so that's getting put into portions and frozen. We might eat chilli every day for the next week, but we won't starve :rotfl:
