Just got off the phone with the parentals who will be in Glasvegas on Saturday. I now have to figure out how to get there and back before 2pm when I am off to see High School Musical at the theatre :rotfl: This will also have to be done for pennies as times are tight until payday!

Evening all!
I would love to say that I bought everything on my shopping list but, muppet that I am, I forgot to buy pasta
Still, I got goodies:
* Bread [strike]67p[/strike] 29p
* Tiger bread rolls (Om nom nom) [strike]52p[/strike] 39p for four
* Ham £1.69
* Value Red Leicester £2.55
* Turkey breast [strike]£2.51 per pack[/strike] 15p per pack :j Who the heck pays £2.50+ for three slices of turkey??
* Tatties £1
* Bananas 71p
* Apples £1.21
* Peppers £1.58
* Onions 22p
* Eggs [strike]£1.42[/strike] 19p
So, three bags of shopping for £10.13, which is pretty awesome. I will only have to buy pasta now (And can probably cope without it until payday)
This is the first time I have ever really done a proper mealplan, and I can now see the benefit! Post to follow with finances until payday.

Aha!
Emptied my Sealed Pot again and am now £66 richer. Also put back into the piggy the leftover coins. I also think I have found one of those fancy-pants 20p's. Anyone had one and sold it?
I am going to PAD £36 tomorrow (Once I convince flatmate to pay coins into the bank for me!) and take the other £30 to Glasvegas. They have Primark and Edinburgh doesn't.
Tomorrow I'm off to see Harry Potter at the pictures (Woo!) and the other highlight of the day will be seeing if the lazy work-to-rule !!!!ers at the council have decided to empty my bins.

Sounds like a plan.
Did you see the news that 250 jobs are going at Scottish Windows...don't think things have hitten the bottom yet. I'm too frightened to text my ex-colleagues to see if they're hit.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

Morning all!
Quick update while I wait for my flatmate to get out of the bathroom!
Meal plan - still being stuck to. I printed it out and popped it in my diary and am checking this every morning. I like this system and will stick to it!
Shopping - will be in budget this month for groceries. Going to Costco on the 28th with my friend to stock up on meat and cat stuff.
Money - flatmate depositing coins at the bank for me today so extra PAD will be done tomorrow. I am also returning a dress I didn't really need to Monsoon so that will lop another £27.50 off my current credit card bill.
Must run - does everyone else have this rubbish weather? It was like the End of the World here last night

We haven't decided exactly where we would like to move to, but ideally Skye & Lochalsh area to be near my parents (My dad's not far off 70 now and it would keep me happier to be nearer to him) and our friends who are up there too now.
Sounds nice, well maybe not the midges, especially the wee blighters with tackity boots on. Just a thought maybe you could put your name down for a transfer in the bank?
Like your meal plan by the way, that's what I need to do. Have a good weekend, enjoy Harry and Primark.0
