Well fater weeks and weeks of thinking of doing it, i have taken the plunge, drove to the nearest Rowlands 20 mins away, and bought a 7 day shake pack. I have been doing slimming world, and got to a stand still, nit because because of the diet, because i have lost the will power. I am doing this is to kick start my self again. I hope for a good week. cant say i am looking forward to it though!!0

Good luck Narva, you will be pleasently suprised I hope - the shakes are really nice, and its very easy to do.
well done everyone - keep it up !!! xxxxxDo not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Im definatly considering doing this, have tried pretty much everything and never seem to loose more than half a stone. Have always been overweight since school and now currently about 13st and its really getting me down. It is a bit off putting with the price but I guess it will be worth it if I can loose the weight. You all seem to be doing well so well done to all of you, will make my decision soon, have the day off Wednesday so will pop in the pharmacy then, just aprehensive if I dont loose anything and waste more money...0

Hi everyone, f10na that's pretty good only putting on 1Ib over a week well done, you might find you have a good weight loss next week, I did when I came off it a couple of weekends ago.
Welcome to new starters, believe me i have been on diets forever (or so it feels like lol!) and this is the best-for me anyway. The shakes are really good once you get used to the sweetness, and once you get started it is a dawdle to follow.
Weigh day for me today (instead of tomorrow) and I have lost another 5Ibs!!! whoop whoop!"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
I'm not sure why fedip100pc is posting on here except to try to tell us we are all wrong to follow this diet - if it works for us, that's our decision. I've tried the whole five-portions-of-fruit-and-veg-wholemeal-bread-pulses-blah blah blah, whilst at the same time walking to and from work (30 mins each way, briskly), AND the gym, AND yoga - nothing. Did the Atkins 10 years ago and it was like a light went on because finally something worked for me.
I now know that what my body is happy on is low-carb, and that means health- and energy-level-wise, not just weight loss. So for most of the time that's what I eat, allowing myself the occasional treat when going out and sometimes completely losing track, but knowing how to get back on it.
What I like about the CS and Atkins bars (I eat more bars than shakes and soups) is how convenient they are - I always have loads in my drawer at work so I'm not always thinking about food and planning my next meal; the evening meal is the only one I have to plan and that's easy cos it's meat or fish, and veg! I love it!0 -
Hi everyone, please its going well for everyone.
well done Tennie D on another excellent weight loss :jyou inspiring me loads!
Hi Narva - i'm the same as you I've been doing SW for over a year and have lost 2 stones but am a bit stuck in a rut and needed a kick start, and so far so good.
Tonight is weigh in for me so i'll be back to post how I get on, I've only been doing it for 5 days though si it wont be a full weeks loss but hopefully will be at least 2 lbs.
Hope everyone has a good day!:DGrocery Challenge Feb 14 £500 / Spent £572.10!
March 14 £500 / spent £488.45 :j0 -
Yeah Shaggers totally agree with you! I have written many replies to his posts but kept deleting them-he's (I presume it's a 'he' anyway) just not worth it!
I was getting really cross with him trying to tell us what was best for us  !
Thanks"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Yes I assumed it was a 'he' also, men just don't get that women are made differently! This is supposed to be a support forum not a 'you're all wrong and deluded' forum. Anyway.
I'm just trying the CS 'rich' tomato soup, has anyone else tried it? It's pink!! So unappealing visually, and the taste is, um, strange. Guess I should have learnt after my experience with the beef one.0 -
Well done on those who have lost! I'm on day 6! Weigh in will on be thurs so I hope i've lost 5lbs or more. I've just found out i won a competition for £100 H&M vouchers so want to lose weight for the Jan sales ;D0
