I thought I was doing ok but I stepped on the scales today and according to them I have out on 3Ibs!! I don't usually weigh myself before weigh day as I think it can put you off (and I have been feeling down most of the day because of it) but I wasn't well most of last week and hadn't been eating much so expected to have lost-I couldn't believe it!! I will be so gutted if i have put on this week as I have done nothing to warrant an increase.

Will see what happens on Wednesday I don't use my own scales to weigh myself and if I have put weight on I will just have to try and forget about it and focus on next week.

Hi all Celebrity Slimmers-where is everyone!

Weigh in for me today another 3Ibs lost taking me to 2 1/2 stones. Would be fab if I could lose another stone before Christmas.

Hope everyone is ok and doing well. x

Teenie that is FANTASTIC! Well done. :T
Not such good news from me I'm afraid. Had a bit of a wobble last week so only lost 1/2 lb. Feeling a bit despondant as only lost 10.5lbs in 3.5 weeks and 10lb of that was in the first two weeks. Anyhoo, I've ordered more CS and I'm going to keep with it. My usual main meal is meat or fish with loads of veg. Could it be because I'm having too much at my main meal? It's usually a chicken breast or 200gr of prawns or the equivilant and the rest of the plate is filled usually with stir fry veg (about 2 tsp oil) or steamed veg. I always have between 2-3 litres of water a day. I've got loads to lose so it's not like I'm almost at target. Oh snacks are either apple or pear sometimes a piece of parma ham or about 30grms of cheese (weighed and not guessed).

Any chance you successful people could post your average daily menus? Pretty please....

    Hi St0lli

1/2 Ib is still really good especially if you didn't have a great week so well done! I know you will be disappointed but you are still losing fat. If you think about your kitchen scales and what half a pound actually is it is a good amount (when I used to go the WW classes the lady who run it took in half a pound of lard to show everyone exactly what you are actually losing so that might be a good mental picture in your mind) also you ar losing on average just over 2Ib per week and that is a great amount to lose so keep it up.

It sounds like you are doing everything right to give you an idea of what I have (and it is pretty boring but it suits me!)

    Breakfast: Shake
    Snack: Apple or Tangerine
    Lunch: usually soup sometimes shake
Snack: Apple or Tangerine or sometimes a ww yogurt (carbs are ok on some of these)
Dinner: Stew(bog standard stew or goulash etc), Mince(e.g spag bol, chilli or just mince) or Chicken (sometimes curried or I quite often sprinkle those sachets of different seasoning and have with salad).

I dont weigh my meat but to give you an idea I use 2 large chicken breasts or a standard pack of mince and that does myself my dh and my dd (if she has not been at nursery that day) 2 nights.

The veg I have is cabbage, cauliflower (sometimes cauli cheese), neeps (but i know you have to watch these), salad, broccoli. I don't weigh veg I just judge what I think will do me and if its too much I just keep it for the next day.

I don't ususally have a snack a night as sometimes I don't feel i need it but if I do I usually treat myself and have some peanuts (salt and vinegar ones ....yummy!) or a CS bar, or sometimes an options hot chocolate.

I drink my 2 litres (most days) and have 2-3 cups of tea a day.

It looks like you are doing everything right-are you doing any exercise? That would be the only other thing I could suggest.

Please keep at it you are doing so well. xxx

Thanks for the words of encouragement Teenie! Just to clarify... two large chicken breasts will make meals for two nights for three of you? Perhaps thats where I'm going wrong as my son (16) and I have an average boneless chicken breast each for a meal even if it's chopped up to make fajita's, curry etc.
Thanks for reminding me about stews etc. That would be dead easy to make in my slow cooker before I go to work and it would be ready and waiting for me when I get home in the evening.
More strawberry milkshakes arrived today so I'm still with the programme! :j

Hi the 2 chicken breasts (if chopped) do us 2 nights but my wee one is only 2 and doesn't eat much meat so that does myself and my hubby-they are large breasts as I order them from a butcher, if I was using supermarket ones, which are slightly smaller I would use more. probably one each.

I found a delicious recipe in a low carb slow cooker book for Pizza Stew.

Brown mince and cook onion and garlic and peppers (I usually use 3 small -1 green, 1 yellow and 1 red)until soft.
    Into slow cooker.
Add large jar of light tomato pasta sauce (I use dolmio as its the lowest in carbs or make your own)
Add some Pepperoni or salami slices (I get a pack from Asda which is already sliced and half them as they are quite big).
Cook for a few hours until you are ready for it and 20 mins before you serve sprinkle on a pack of grated mozzarella cheese and let it melt.

I have this with salad and it is really yummy - my DH and DD have pasta with theres and they love it!

Good for you for sticking with it! x

That recipe sounds lovely Teenie... definitely going to try that one! I'm looking forward to making a nice stew as well. It's nice to only think about one meal. What I really love about CS is that I have a shake on my drive to work which counts as my breakfast and then I just take a packet of soup in for lunch or if I'm unsure of where I'm going to be I'll take a replacement bar for lunch. Along with an apple, a pear and a couple of bottles of water I'm sorted for the day :j It makes life so much easier as I don't have to think! lol
