Good luck this diet really works-as long as you follow it properly!!

Not been a great week for me, eating stuff i shouldn't. Not going to beat myself up too much as I know I will get properly back into it again once Xmas is over!

    Hi guys

How are you all? Not heard from anyone for ages, are you all giving up over the festive season?

Well I haven't been that good for the last week or so but wanted to do a weigh in before Christmas and I am over the moon to have lost another 5Ibs taking me to a loss of 3 Stone. I am intending still following it to a certain extent but am not going to be too strict and just enjoy myself but will get right back to it properly in January (hopefully without putting on too much ;)!)

Have a very Happy Christmas :beer:and hopefully I will hear from you all in 2010.

    Hi everyone,

I've been reading up on this thread for the past day or so and decided to give CS a go. Today is my first day on the diet and I'm just about to have my first shake. Hopefully some of you will be back soon and can give me some hints and tips.

    Deebee.

Hi all... I'm back from my hols all refreshed, relaxed and 8lbs heavier!!!! OMG how it goes on back quickly but having said that I was on a cruise so there was food in abundence and the temperature was around 30degs the whole time I was away so not much excercise either.

Anyway I'm back to it today and I've had shake fro brekkie, soup for lunch and tonight I've had a tuna steak with stir fry veg. Hopefully in 3 weeks time I'll be back to where I left off before I went on hols!

Happy new year to everyone and here's to a good weight loss year! :j

    Hi

I have not had the guts to weigh myself yet, but will tomorrow when I start back on it again. I had every intention of sticking to it over the hols but.......!

I am really desperate to get back to it though as I feel pretty yuck, I feel bloated, my tummy is upset I am back to feeling tired again and generally pretty grumpy lol!

At least I know I am going into the New Year with a head start and am confident that I will continue losing weight.

Good luck everyone and here's to a slimmer 2010 :D

    Hi Everyone!

Hope you are all doing well!

I am STILL on the diet, a few slips and a big slip over Christmas, but I am being strict from now on. Plus I am watching Biggest Loser for inspiration!!:j They really work hard!

I lost 1 pound over Christmas so I now have a total loss of 20 pounds which as I have been on the diet since mid October is pretty rubbish! The diet works so well when I put the effort in!

I have done my measurements and I have lost:

    Bust: 3 inches
    Waist: 3 inches
    Hips: 3.5 inches

So fortunately I am maintaining my hourglass shape! Plus I have lost 1/2 inch per upper arm, 1/2 inch from each thigh and 1 inch from my bum!

Losing weight from my lower half is so hard! I don't know why.

I haven't been drinking all my water while I have been off work and I can't believe how sluggish I feel without it.

Oh and I have ordered one of the new flavour trial packs so I hope the flavours are lovely!

    Hiya,

Thought I would let you all know that I have finally decided to start CS and stick with it this time.

I started last year but only done it for a few weeks, however after suffering a miscarriage in May after five years of trying, we have been told that we can get IVF but I need to have a BMI of 35. My BMI is currently at 52.3 (according to my chemist scales and 46.4 according to the CS website). I am going to get weighed at my chemist every Monday morning and go by what they tell me. My own electronic scales are very unreliable and the other normal set don't go up as high as I need them too.

At the minute I am 20 stone 7.5 lbs, so have loads to lose. I know it is a high figure but I would like to be losing about a stone a month if possible.

I started this yesterday and am hoping that if I put my food diary on here daily that someone will be able to advise me if it is okay or if they can see any mistakes that I am making.

Thanks in advance for any help that you can give me, and Well Done to everyone on their great losses.

Okay, Monday was the first day so lets start there.

I had a hot caffe latte shake which I drank while walking the 45 minutes to work, at 6.15am in the snow...lol

I had a Muller Light yoghurt for morning snack and then the CS Beef soup for lunch which I loved.

Afternoon snack was another Muller light yoghurt, and then dinner was a chicken omelette with a huge salad of peppers and lettuce with a small piece of carrot.

Supper was a full day break Atkins bar, (not sure about being allowed this).

I was planning on walking home from work as well, but managed to give myself a huge blister on my heel walking in and could hardly walk round work never mind home..lol

Well done Caroline on taking the plunge again you have a fantastic goal in sight and I am sure you will do it. Everything looks ok but not sure about the muller lights-I'm sure I checked them when I first started as I used to eat them all the time and discovered that they have more than 10g per 100g of carbs but i could be wrong. The only ones I have found that are within the guidelines are some of the weight watchers ones but if i am wrong about this please tell me as I would have one occasionally.

I started back today and must admit I was desperate to get back to it but found it quite hard in the afternoon-I was pretty hungry and was definately craving something nice but it doesn't help when the office is full of biscuits and tins of sweets everyone else keeps bringing in! lol.

Angel Jenny that is brilliant losing weight over xmas I am really chuffed for you and your inch loss is fantastic-I keep meaning to take my measurements and keep forgetting to do it.. I was planning on sticking to it over the festive period but totally lost it-in fact I jumped on the scales today and reckon I have put on about 5 or 6 Ibs but I am not disheartened as I have every confidence I will lose it very quickly again.

Have a good week everyone! Take care x
