Teenie D - just to let you know that I tried your pizza stew recipe this evening and it was lovely! Really nice to have something to come home to with hardly any waiting around (just for the cheese part). The added bonus was that my son loved it as well - can't ask for more than that! :j

    Thank you!

PS I'm finding it a tiny bit harder to stick to it this time round but I'm determined to keep going - GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! :T

wow Caroline! It doesnt seem like you're having much of the allowable snacks. either that or I'm eating far too much.

    Today I had. :

    Strawberry shake for breakfast

snack was 1/2 apple and 30 g mexicana cheese

    lunch was chocolate shake

snack was 1/2 atkins advantage bar

dinner; chicken & vegetable stir fry.

and tonight's final snack was 2 slices ham & some plum tomatos (rare I know but delicious).

I have to admit, I'm not feeling hungry hardly at all but I am SO craving hot buttered toast. Have just cleaned my teeth so that's the end of day two.

Today was harder for me as I don't work on Tuesdays and so was tempted to eat more.

    However I had,

Breakfast was Banana shake and snack was 30g cheese with some lettuce and peppers, lunch was chocolate shake and then snack was Atkins Daybreak bar. Dinner was oven cooked fish and lettuce and peppers, followed by a muller light snack.

I did slip up tonight and ate five Thortons chocs which were left from Christmas, but thats all the chocolate away now so nothing else to tempt me..

Teenie the yoghurts are 8.2 in 100g, well the Orange ones do anyway. Do you think these would be okay as I love having them.

Hi Caroline the muller light sounds fine I maybe didn't look at it properly or maybe was looking at different flavours.

St0lli I am so glad you enjoyed the pizza stew, was going to make it today but have opted for Chilli today and am going to try cauli rice to see what it's like.

I cheated last night and feel really disappointed with myself I had some toast and biscuits! Determined to stick to it from now on though and am going to do some exercises when wee one in bed.

I am a bit stuck for dinner tonight as I have nothing much in and can't afford to buy any new shopping till Thursday.

I have a piece of fish in the freezer but no salad stuff left. Think I might have a plain omelette....does omelette and fish sound yucky...lol

Feeling much better today, will be well back into the swing of things by the end of the week, have been feeling hungrier but I know that will pass. Was going to do some exercise tonight but having probs with my 2yo not wanting to go to bed (but that's in a whole different thread lol!).

Caroline I noticed you just had an options for lunch? That is not enough you need to have your 2 shakes or soups as you will get hungry and the water thing is hard to begin with but it will get better. The only other thing I would say would be to have at least one piece of fruit for your snack-I try and have 2 pieces a day.

    Good luck x

    Disgusted with myself today.

Went to bed last night and ate a packet of Buttons, a fudge, 6 celebrations and a packet of strawberry laces, which I don't even like.

Today I started off well with a Caramel shake for breakfast and from there it went downhill. I brought a CS Soup with me to work for my lunch, but come lunch time I really wanted a sandwich. I had a fresh made take away sandwich which consisted of two slices of Granary bread, chicken, ham, stuffing and a small smear of cranberry sauce. Followed by a croissant with butter and jam.

I then went food shopping after work and bought all nice healthy CS friendly foods, cam home and ate 4 kitkats while I was unpacking it...(2 finger ones).
I then had a Muller light corner and have just finished off with 2 apples and a piece of cheese.

Going to go to bed now and hope it is better tomorrow.

How did everyone else go today.

Aww, Caroline. Its ok you know. I've been killed with cravings for toast the past 2 days. I finally gave in this morning and had some of DS's leftover toast, but threw the rest to the birds. Its very difficult to beat the cravings when they hit you. The best I can advise is to make sure you eat all your snacks and take your shakes/soups... then and only then, if you're still craving sandwiches or bread or whatever... allow yourself a little bit.

As for the kitkats - the best thing you could have done was to not buy them and then they wouldnt have been there for you to eat. I'm actually finding I quite like the Atkins advantage bars and the fact that its chocolate - happy days! If you bought the treats in for your OH, then my advice would be to go and buy a cookie jar or container of some descrption and put all the biccis and things into it. then put it into either a drawer you never go into or a room you rarely use. My ds has treats which we keep in a halloween pumpkin container and for some reason it's registered in my brain that those treats dont belong to me and I never go near it.

Anyway, by the time you read this, itll be tomorrow and you'll have a new start. You have the best reasons in the world for wanting to lose this weight but dont put yourself under too much pressure. I know how you feel.. been there and done that having to lose weight for fertility treatment.

Good luck for tomorrow and dont be too disheartened. Just start again afresh.
